October 28, 2023These were the bigger of the shower cap offerings of this type. They fit over my huge head with room to spare, unlike the $ tree sort that barely cover. Seems like there would be room for tied up longer hair.It has elastic "thread", double chain stitched. Seems that it would hold up for a good number of uses, much better than the thin rubber band type of elastic. The plastic is thin but plenty strong enough. The elastic is quite snug and seems like it would hold up to the weight of tied up longer hair. I've never had longer hair, so I'm just estimating.They seemed so odd, but I like them. Would recommend.Update 7.17.24I am still using the same two shower caps I started with. Granted, I don't use them daily, but often.On the first one, the elastic started losing its stretch on the pleated sides, so I took another one. Thinking about it, for the stretched out one, I took a safety pin and put it *through* the chain stitch on both sides of the pleat, and on both pleats.So now I have two shower caps in rotation.I like other suggestions, using them to cover food and telescopes and other things. Never thought of those kinds of uses. Thanks folks!

I was SO tired of cutsey shower caps that are too small (I put my hair in a bun to shower and it has to cover the bun). Also, the elastic stretches out after a few uses and I ended throwing them away.I liked the shower caps they give you in hotels - the throwaway ones - and then saw them on Amazon. I ordered a package, and there were 30 for only $5+, so I couldn't go wrong.They are perfect. They claim to be LARGE and "thicker". They are definitely big enough to cover my head with my long hair in a bun (my head isn't particularly big, but it's not small either). The fit securely around your face and they worked out really great. I have reused my first one 5 times now and it still doesn't leak. As for the "thicker" claim - they are pretty thin, but, again, I've already used it 5 times.I don't like throwaway stuff, so I will use the first one as many times as it will allow; I am careful with it and it dries out quickly. Then I have 29 more so I will have these for a while.They are packaged VERY small and flat. They are excellent for travelling because you can put several in your luggage taking up no space at all.I was SUPER happy with my purchase. My big head and bun doesn't get wet now when I shower!

These shower caps are pretty good and provide good coverage for medium size hair

These are easy to pack for traveling and work well. The only complaint is you have to open carefully or they tear. I’ve only had that open to two of them but I’ve learned to be more careful with them. And they are good enough to use a few times.

I use these to cover bread dough while it's rising. Can get several uses from each one.

These are perfect. They are large enough to fit all of my hair. They keep my hair dry in the shower on days that I don't want to wash it.

When I previously purchased this item, each cap was individually wrapped. So when I “purchased the item again” I thought it would be the same. I was disappointed to receive all items loose in one square shrink wrap packaging.

Basic plastic cap. Used for deep conditioning my hair. Plastic caps are of great quality will buy again.
