Outstanding hose fittings that are watertight.
These Brass Quick Connect Fittings are fantastic. They do not leak and are very durable. The first set of three purchased are still working flawlessly after almost a full year of sitting outdoors in the Florida sun. They work so well I have purchased six more and use them for both ends of all of our garden hoses. They are a bit pricey but FAR MORE RELIABLE THAN THE PLASTIC HOSE FITTINGS!

Great Product! Just buy it!
Well made. Feel very solid. Once connected and the water is turned on, not a single drop leaks. Use these on my camper to quickly disconnect both ends. It's make disconnecting my garden hose from the camper during the winter months so I can drain my line. Just bought a second kit for another GP hose.

If You Hate Screwing and Unscrewing The Garden Hose...
Then this product is for you. Tired of perpetually being soaked every time I wanted to move or change my garden hose, I began contemplating the "quick connect" idea and took the plunge a few weeks ago. Nothing more frustrating than swapping out a hose and coming away looking like you've wet your pants--happens too often when your a senior anyway! I wanted to be able to remove my garden hose and sprayer simply, and without a lot of fuss for old-retired-lady-hands. These connectors are solid little gadgets that set up and stay put until you decide different. The hardest part is getting them threaded onto the hose spigot that first time. Mine is raised up about two feet off the ground so it is relatively easy to reach. If your hose spigot is lower to the ground it will be harder but it is a one-time investment in bending over and threading it on making the trouble a good investment for the future bending--and yer back! The connector operates by pulling the top part (female end) back and up while you pull/push down/up on the hose end for connect or disconnect. This motion results in a click that lets you know the connection is made. The fittings are solid, have some weight in your hands and operate smoothly. I need both hands to do on/off but if you have strong hands and fingers you could do it single-handedly. As far as the washers go, they are adequate and should last a while, but I keep back ups handy in case. They operate smoothly once you get the hand of the "push to connect/disconnect" motions. The one on my sprayer end works well too. I would recommend practicing connecting/disconnecting before installation to get the hand of it so you're not standing on your head in 90 degree weather cussing out your plumbing wondering why the only water being produced is the sweat running down your butt crack. I think this may be one of my smarter purchases this year.

Ease of use
This product is used in a factory setting with both water base and chemical products. Used to connect hoses to various pumps. Easy to use and durable.

Pretty cool.
I use these on my garden watering stand. I have one attached from the house to the stand, which makes it easier to move for mowing around. And one on my watering wand, easier to wind the hose..

Pretty good for the price
Only issue I had was one of the connects left metal splinters in my hand when I was handling them. I think it was just loose material because it hadnt happened again.

As NEW, NO LEAKS
HQMPC . I was worried about these being compatible with the HQMPC male connect I also ordered. But they seem to be perfectly matched. Appreciated the extra gaskets. All these brass connectors are pricy. These seem to be of good quality and construction. I put them on, and no leaks. Only limited slop/flex at the joint. I would buy again.

Great quality for this style of quick connect, but note the flow restriction
There are pretty much two styles of brass quick connect couplers for garden hoses. One style has the o-ring on the male coupler, and the other style seals using a dual purpose washer inside the female coupler. The latter style will always have a larger flow due to the thinner wall of the male coupler. This is because it does not need to support a channel in the wall to seat an o-ring, like the former design.See the bore size comparisons in the attached pic where I used a caliper to measure the openings between the two designs. The HQMPC coupler is on the left and a generic brand of the alternate design is on the right. As other reviews have noted, if you don't mind the lesser flow, than these are very good quality couplers for this style, which is why I did not knock the rating from 5 stars. The build quality is solid and you can tell they used alot of brass in the construction of these couplers from their weight. They are heavier than similar designed couplers I have purchased in the past. Now if you're looking for higher flow couplers with the different design, it looks like HQMPC (as well as many other vendors on Amazon) sell them. Here's the link to HQMPC's version: https://www.amazon.com/HQMPC-Garden-Connector-Connect-Fitting/dp/B07F648815/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=hqmpc+coupler&qid=1623399757&sr=8-9If you are committed to wanting the coupler design with the o-ring on the male coupler, but still want max flow, there's only one version I have found thus far that provides this. Eley couplers, but these are on a completely different level and cost, and provide a full 3/4" of flow.

Do not buy!!!
I never wrote a review, neither good nor bad. I’m so disappointed though, so here it goes. What they don’t tell you is what you see in the picture I’ve included, it’s empty on the inside, nothing to hold the water from coming out. So basically you have to shut and open the water from the source every time your switching devices, defeating the purpose of have a quick connect. Yes it’s easy to connect/disconnect but only after you shut the water off!!!!! It’s a shame zero stars is not an option.

Solid build and reliable
I have several hoses and attachments including a pressure washer so I got several sets of these to outfit everything and simplify all the connections. So far they are all working very well…they feel solid, are easy to connect/disconnect, and no have no leaks. There seems to be 2 common style of garden hose quick connects. There are these “Gardena style” ones and then there is the style with larger diameter male end without an o-ring. I have tried both and found these Gardena style ones to be more reliable in terms of ease of connection and remaining leak free. The others are more finicky plus use an odd style washer in the middle that is not easy to find/replace unlike the common washers and O-rings these connectors use. These also work with the actual plastic Gardena brand connectors. They do seem to have to be pressed in a bit deeper to connect but they do click in and have been working fine. I have a few other Gardena attachments, some with non-removable connectors so it’s nice to have a quick connect compatible with everything else I already have. The only minor downside to these is that the male opening/hole is a little smaller so water flow is reduced slightly but probably not by an amount most would notice. It still provides more than enough flow to supply my pressure washer with no issues.I saw some other reviewers rating these low because there is no automatic shut off valve when you disconnect an attachment which I don’t think is fair as it’s not advertised to have one. Some connectors have the feature and some don’t because there are pros and cons to each and they each meet different needs. Having a shut off valve reduces water flow even further plus some people still want to be able to use their hose ends without an attachment or use their own attached valve to manually control water flow. If none of that applies to you then you need to pick a different connector that has a automatic shut-off. This product is for those that don’t want/need a shut off valve and is working as intended…it’s not a “flaw” that it doesn’t have one.Time will tell how these hold up but so far so good!

!Beware! No checkvalve inside!
Although sturdy and easy to use, they are totally useless for my intended purpose. Whitout checkvalve inside, you need to shut-off the water and release the pressure each time you want to "quick" release the attachment at the end of the garden hose. I prefer to see them as a swivel attachement rather than usefull quick connect. For a few more bucks you could buy the same sturdy connection WITH checkvalve in any store. It either fit you need or totally miss the point, for you to judge.

These work very well!
I bought these to use with my water distiller. It makes the water connection as easy as the electric connection. No need to turn on and on twisting the hose I am using: just pull the top part (mounted on the water supply faucet) , insert the low part attached to my distiller hose, and release! The advantage of having two of them in the package is that once I disconnect the distiller from the water supply, I connect it to the second top part that I manage to make a plug with (simply screw on a plugged piece in place of a water supply), so the water left in the hose doesn't make a mess on the floor! Can't ask for better! This item seems well made and looks like it will last ... forever!

J'y reviendrai.
