I like this because it doesn’t have an external battery to remove and charge, I can just plug it in to the wall with the supplied power cord. It is a great size and fits in my smaller hand pretty nice. Just makes it easy for me to do more intricate work. It’s also easy to hold too because it has a rubberized casing so it doesn’t slip out of my hands. The best part about this rotary tool is that it’s powerful! It screams at high RPM. It comes with a bunch of rotary tools and a clear guard that will come in handy for those messy jobs. And it all comes in a nice protective case. Another great tool by TACKLIFE!

I bought this rotary tool to replace an old Dremel brand rotary tool that was over 15 years old and just not working as well anymore. I checked on the new Dremel brand rotary tools, but dang are they expensive now. It was almost twice the price of this one. I figured for the amount I used a rotary tool it would be more economical to try this product. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm pleasantly surprised with how well this little tool works. It's got quite a powerful motor for a cordless unit. The first thing I did was use the sanding bands to sharpen my kitchen knife set. It'd been about a year since any of them were sharpened, so most of the knives were way overdue for a sharpening. I'm impressed with how easy this is to use. It's light weight and easy to hold for longer periods of time. It helped me get everything sharpened quickly. It took me 2-3 minutes per knife, depending on the size. It spins fast and quietly, even at the lowest speed. It comes in a very nice zippered pouch that holds everything perfectly and even has a carrying strap. The pouch has dedicated compartments for everything to help you stay organized. There's a plastic organizing box to keep the attachments in. There are so many accessories that come in this set. I'm not even sure what some of them do. LOL!! There are bits for grinding/sharpening, sanding, carving/engraving, cutting, cleaning/polishing and drilling. It even comes with a shield attachment to protect you from anything that flies off when you're cutting or grinding. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this rotary tool set and will definitely recommend it.

This thing absolute crushed the performance of my cordless dremel. I love my wall plug model Dremel but wanted a cordless option and was very disappointed with their cordless offering. I was skeptical because of the low price and off brand but it has been working great and I use it often. Only overloads with excessive force and when taking to big of bites out of steel. Great tool. Still not as powerful as wall plug models for acceptable performance.

I have to say, what are you expecting for half the price of a similar Dremmel? Well, I wasn't expecting equal or superior quality. This rotary tool is packed with features, has a great form factor for an adult man's hand (a tiny big for the wife, but still great), and the basic set even had a decent selectin of tools.Right out of the box I took it out to grind off some plugs which had gotten corroded, took longer than I expected. Without charging this ran for more than 20 minutes, and battery was still 1/2 life. Speed selection is excellent with a good range of choices, and after 20 minutes it was only warm to the touch.Lots of torque, too. I had to slow it down a bit, it was hard to control. Unlike other cheap models, I couldn't stall this one out. It's a beast. The only thing I'd do it add an extra collet or two to the basic tool set, they are the #1 thing you lose. But considering it was less than $50? I can buy more. Very impressed, and highly recommend.

My 10yr+ old dremmel finally died and a replacement battery was not easily sourced at a reasonable price point. I have a few other track life products and thought I would give this a go. Great value for the price point and all of my dremmel tools seem to be compatible. Can't speak as to longevity, as I've only used it a few times...

The tool is light weight, while still maintaining a nice solid and proper heft. It is a fantastic package, with all of the bits and tools you need to get going.I like that I was able to save a ton of time, and money, by getting a nice assortment included in this kit. Additionally, this tool is fully compatible with any rotary tool bits out there.One of the biggest selling points for me on this was the lithium ion battery. Being fully wireless is nice, because it lets me do the work I need to do, even if it’s not on the bench per se. it’s nice to be able to get elbows deep into a project and nit have to worry about a power cord getting all bound up.I love that it’s portability is complimented with a nice accessory case, and carrying case. I can toss it in the bike’s bag and head to a friends place to do some engraving, or even carving. And It is superbly versatile, and reliable.As I use the cutting bits quite a lot, the shield is indispensable. It cuts down on sparks and debris that spit out onto me. I deeply appreciate that. Those sparks HURT! This tool is truly a beast, it gets the job done, and is super reliableFor the price, I couldn’t find a better kit. It is all inclusive, and everything I need. But if I DO need extra parts, I know it will work with all the major brands out there. That’s the best.
