National Geographic Kids Ultimate Weird But True: 1,000 Wild & Wacky Facts & Photos!

Any of these Weird but True books are fantastic. They engage a wide age range and reading levels with their engaging pictures and layouts along with bizarre facts. Some kids read them cover to cover and others skip around. Either way, they’re reading and excited about engaging with a text. I’ve learned quite a bit reading these with kids or having kids tell me about what they read. I’d definitely recommend as a gift for any child.

A very interesting book for any kid that likes to know about unique facts. My 9 yr old grandson is enjoying immensely.

I got a few of these books several years ago for my children. They have outgrown them, and they are now in my classroom library. They are still in good shape. Great for reluctant/ struggling readers. They are high interest, and students will read the captions without feeling like they are reading.

I still find books that my grandparents gave me over 1/2 century ago. My 7 year old grandaughter receives so many clothes and toys for birthdays and holidays that I really want to give her something special and different. She loves the book!!! She takes it with her all the time, and periodically pops up with facts she has learned. She is starting to read in 1st grade, and picks up more of the words every time. Her mind is challenged and it has been a great gift. Every day should be a learning experience, and this book creates a learning environment. I love it too. Fun to read and fun to share with her, and I am all about that. A definite keeper.

My kids have had a great time reading this book. It's got a lot of interesting and crazy facts. We spent Christmas break telling each other weird but true facts. The book has stayed out on the coffee table and been a lot of fun to pick up and read for adults and kids alike. My 13 year old son and 11 year old daughter both devour it.

This came in 1 day! I was shocked even for Prime! The book is a beautiful hard cover , colorful & attractive . Tons of exciting pics & info for kids of ALL AGES!! I'm learning a lot, lol ! It keeps kids attention & the pictures are really nice. It's easy enough to read but it's not a "baby book" , older kids will enjoy the facts & weird interesting tidbits as well as younger ones. It was well worth the price! Recommend for all ages to stimulate reading!! Jenn~

My 9 year old granddaughter loves this book. When I visited last we sat down with it and went through the entire thing together. She is not one who reads a lot of books, but she loves this one because of the amazing facts. The National Geographic pictures are wonderful, too. Great for girls and boys and especially fun to read aloud and amaze friends and family.

This is a fun, beautifully illustrated, informative book that will keep your inquisitive child’s attention!
