MUST have for ANY Zipper!
MUST have for ANY Zipper! As titled; if you have any zippers anywhere, on any item, you must get this product. If there’s even the tiniest hint of a catch / stick / roughness in any zipper, this is your cure. For zippers that you might think already work “normally / OK”; it takes them to amazing. For zippers that are rough / sticky / awful, it brings them almost to perfection & like new. This is my second product of this type; first one was the open-ended “crayon” / small stick-type, vs. this which is in a large (huge) chapstick-style tube container. This lube comes in a chapstick container, but about twice as large. A regular chapstick container is 2.75” long vs. 3.75” for this zipper lube, and 9/16” diameter vs. 14/16” for the zipper lube container. Both products are great, but frankly I prefer this one a lot to the other smaller crayon type, for several reasons;-The much larger stick obviously gives you a much larger application area, which makes it easier and faster to apply the lubricant to zippers or snaps. (This does work on zippers as well as snaps. I have tried it mostly on zippers, but applied to snaps and it works amazingly well on old, weathered snaps!)-It’s much more convenient & logical to have a hard plastic container with a cap. Just imagine if you had a chapstick / crayon, but lost the cap; where TF do you store it so it doesn’t go all over the place?I kept the original bag that the other “crayon” zipper Lube came in, and stored it in there, but I can’t really transport it anywhere…Overall the Better Boats Zipper Lube is just a more convenient, faster and easier to use product vs. other styles, but the smaller sticks have their place as well.HOWEVER, the smaller stick type is obviously sometimes better for tighter spaces / smaller zippers…but not always…Items I’ve used this on:-Fanny Packs - main / external AND internal, smaller zippers-Wallets (Large women’s / passport / travel-style wallets with zippers 3/4 the way around)-Men’s pants fly-Backpackss - main / external AND internal, smaller zippers.-Jackets-Womens’ dresses - those teeny, tiny, AWFUL little zippers that are so hard to pull!-Shoes / boots with size zippersBasically unless you have perfect or flawless zippers everywhere, you should buy this Better Boat Zipper Lubricant stick!

Boat cover snaps
It’s good but I think I’d prefer a spray lube. Thx

Great zipper lube!
Worked like a charm on a large polymer zipper. Recommended!!!

It works.
The lube worked well, much easier to snap and unsnap. The removal tool also worked well, it grabs a lot of the surface area of the snap making it safer to remove one that is binding.

Extremely difficult to open! Very frustrating.
This product clearly does not have frustration-free packaging. I spent at least 10 minutes trying to get it open. I had to scrape one-third of the sticky label that encloses the entire tube in order to be able to remove the cap. There is no marking on the label as to where to cut in order to remove the top. Works OK on zippers, but I'll look for another brand next time as I have better things to do in life than scrape off an obstinate label.
