Lang General Store by Mary Singleton Jigsaw Puzzle (500-Piece)

This puzzle was advertised as new but it was clearly used with several bent and worn pieces and it was missing a piece. I had to recycle the puzzle because I did not want anyone else to experience the same disappointment that I had with the puzzle. If all the pieces had been there and the puzzle was new as it was supposed to be, it would have been a lovely puzzle to have in my collection. I like the Lang series of folk art puzzles.

Very happy with the puzzle. I've seen other review from people complaining about the top not closing properly, but I haven't had that problem. Good quality puzzle.

All of these Lang puzzles are well made and are quality products. There were a big hit.

These are my favorite puzzles - love the box and puzzle quality is great.

I really liked the picture on this puzzle,and the final assembly looked nice; however, I do have just a couple of small issues to note.The most concerning issue, to me, is bent pieces -- quite a few. Therefore some pieces do not lay flat; however, the final completed puzzle looks great and I don't really notice the bent pieces that I came across earlier.I do a lot of puzzles from a lot of different manufacturers and I have NEVER before seen the amount of pieces that I had to break apart -- some that were three to five pieces together. You always get some in the puzzles, but this was far, far above the norm.Lastly (and this is not a QC issue but just my personal preference), I really do not like the easel picture system that they use. I much prefer the separate poster. When you have to look closely at a section of the picture, it's annoying and cumbersome to have to grab the box all the time. Much easier to grab the poster paper that many manufacturers provide (and that you can keep handy).All in all, I recommend this puzzle manufacturer. I really love the pictures and unique puzzle pieces -- not too small, not too big, some nice 'weird' shapes :-) I will definitely purchase again from this manufacturer.

I finished this puzzle and to my great disappointment there were almost 20 pieces missing in the middle of the puzzle. So this puzzle could not be framed as I do with all my puzzles. Great disappointment.
