It works a treat, slight smell but with ventilation it is fine.

used this for garden furniture/ornaments.East to apply, suggest standing items in a large tray, i have a car drip tray to catch excess. Even very porous wood responds well and easy enough to get a coat on.Nice lustre to the wood, bought out the grain and detail plus protects.Got a second bottle to do more.As for how far it will go/coverage tray help catch and recycle drips/runoff and also how porous your items are. Mine very pieous but it still covered well.Wash out brushes in soapy water.Reccomend.

An excellent product this boiled Linseed Oil that gives high protection to all wooden tool handles. Easy to apply and dries within a day. I am pleased with this purchase.

Vikings used it to waterproof their shields and ships. I’m using it on my shield. Good stuff, and I’ve been giving the wood extra coats as it’s leaves a gloss finish, rather than one coat for just waterproofing. Slight orange colour on pine, which is what I wanted as it’s the way a Viking shield should look, before painting any patterns etc

Brilliant for wood

Does what it needs to do, 15 coats with fine sanding in-between and you'll have a lovely shiny yet natural finish with a bit of protection, a few passes on unfinished furniture will make the grain pop with slight darkening. Dries enough between coats in a reasonable 20 mins if rubbed in with cloth. Don't screw up your oily rags, they WILL self combust so wash with soap right away or hang outside on a clothes line fully opened, you've been warned!!!

Used to oil a solid wood table. Very pleased with the result. There is a slight smell when using but not too bad. Smell went after a day or so. Used a cloth instead of a brush to apply. Be aware there is a risk of the used cloth to spontaneously combust after use so rinse it thoroughly with soapy water before disposal. The warning is in the small print on the bottle label. Price was very low compared to other products. I still have 3/4 of the bottle left after 2 applications. I would buy this again if I needed to
