great looking sturdily made shade attractively priced
An unusual idea. This is an unlined fabric lampshade. It is given shape and rigidity by four curved heavy metal braces that snap quickly in place, positioned by notches at the top that fit with the spider, and retaining beads along the bottom edge. No instructions needed kand none supplied; setup is obvious. The result is a gracefully curved drum shade, perhaps a bit heavier than normal. The material is a bit nubby, but suited to all but the most formal settings. I am using this with a bronze & ceramic base in one of the bedrooms, and it's a spot where our birds will surely perch. The sturdy construction and material is handsome enough but also like to be well suited to the use it will get....
