very impressive stove!!
first off before I bought reading many of the reviews for this made me skeptical of the purchase but upon receiving it, I could not be happier. it is basically a full top stove like in a kitchen but portable. built on rubber feet, stainless steel body, 3 ft hose, and roomy cooktop. no one who has propane experience should have a problem with this except for maybe common mistakes like not adjusting the air intake on the underside witch causes erratic flame or using an old propane bottle with bad threads. point being safety first but versatility of this this is well worth even the shipping proper care will bring yrs of portable cooking even in a garage if the conditions are right. the heads will fit virtually all size pots and pans as well.

My opinion on this product
The size was perfect and not only its perfect but it very easy to assembly and clean up. The height of the stove top is also a good height as well. I recommend it to peoples who is looking for a propane gas stove.

Works very well in a pinch.
As stated, this product is intended for camping but I decided to purchase it to do two things for me, 1) give me the ability to keep the cooking smell outside of my house and 2) lower my electric bill some. I can say this nifty little grill does both very well and it's compact size makes it easy to take just about anywhere. If this little gas stove had an immediate draw back I would say it is the stand. The stand itself is pretty light and made as cheaply as possible to sustain the grill and maybe another 30lbs. to possibly 40lbs. of pots/pans and food on it at one time. I would not try pushing the weight limit over the max on this grill so if you're into making those 50+lbs. batches of chili I recommend you get something stronger. Another thing I noticed about the stand is that it only works well on evened level ground but since it has such a light weight to it, it will shift very easily when cooking on an uneven floor, so that will kind of make it tough to find a good camping spot for this grill. I will go on a limb and say this is more tailored for a tailgating party or back porch use. All in all this is one great product for the price, I can easily compare this grill with the cooking capacity of $100 grills/ ranges that have less travel flexibility. The Good: Low cost, easy maintenance, easy set up, easy storage, and light weight makes it easy to travel. The Bad: Light weight materials limit its use to medium sized pots/pans and caps the servings to under 40lbs of food. The Ugly: Cheap grill stand is evident.I give this product 4 stars on a basis of Product Quality & Performance vs. Price.

works great
For the cost, it is great. Could be used for picnics, camping, or cooking on the deck at home. Has self igniter, hooks up in seconds, makes a good sized flame, even for boiling corn or crabs.

Flimsy, scary burner.
This burner is larger than expected - 28 X 14 X 5 inches, but it's built with very thin sheet stainless steel, with common steel burners. It has a flimsy feel, and when burning, it's very loud, sounding more like a blow torch. The propane hose and fittings are substandard; fittings are joined to the hose withcheap hose clamps, and the hose itself is thin-walled and lacking substance. On mine, one burner shot its flame downward, as well as up. Don't use this on any combustible surface, or in any structure. My best recommendation is, don't use this at all!

Problem With Soot from Burners
Ok - Overall satisfied - but satisfaction is short lived.the first unit worked as promised and then suddenly(after 6 weeks or so) both burners started burning yellow flame with lot of soot. The vendor Alpha replaced the unit - service was very good. Now after about 6-months of usage both burners all of a sudden started burning yellow and soot. The adjustments to the valve, to control air/fuel mixture does not respond at all. Any thoughts. The unit is kept under a covered patio outside. When it works - it works well but life is too short. Should last minimum 2-years if not more. This is my primary stove. When it worked it was good but very short life span.

Works great. I boiled water
Ok. The first one arrived broken. The second came in working order. Works great. I boiled water, as a test, in about the same time inside stove top time.
