Easy setup and works fine.
I bought a referbished Netgear WNCE2001. It supports Wifi 202.11n, on 2.4 GHz band. It is about the size of a credit card, width and lengthwise. It is about half an inch thick. I used it to wirelessly connect my Obihai model Obi202 telephone adaptor to my router. I had it in use for a week and it is working properly. No issues yet. There is two ways to power the Netgear adpator. You can use the included power adaptor that plugss to home power outlet or you can use the USB power adaptor, also included. My Obi202 telphone adpator has a USB port; therefore, I used the USB power cable provided by Netgear to power the Netgear adaptor. It is less clutter. Neatgear also provided a velcro to secure the apator. In my case, the Netgear adpator is sitting ontop of my Obi202 unit secured in place by the velcro. I interconnected the Ehernet ports (RJ45) of the Netgear adaptor and Obi203 using the Ethernet cable. Later, I replaced the Ethernet cable (Cat 5)with a shorter (6 inch) cable so that to minimize cable clutter. Some reviwers reported that the Netgear adpator caused their netwrork to fail because the Netgear adptor acted as a DHCP server after it lost connection. I did a test where I turned off my router and turned it back on after few seconds. The Negear adpator maintained its configurtion and I it did not intefere with my network. After I turned my router on, everthing came bakck to normal working. I also turned off/on my Netgear adaptor and again, there was no problem with my netwrok. It could be that Netgear had already fixed it by updating the firmware.Setup was easy. I used my laptop PC to configure the wifi connection to my router.1) Disconnect your laptop from any other netwrok. Turn off the Wifi on the laptop.2) Connect power to the Netgear adpator.3) Connect the latop to the Netgear adptor using the included Ethernet cable.4) Start your Intenet browser and the Netgear configuration page autmatically shows up. The adaptor automtically scans for availabe Wifi hotspots nearby and displays the list.5) Select your Wifi from the list displayed6) Provide the password for your Wifi.7) Disconnect the laptop and connect the Netgear adpator to your device. That is all.

I go back and forth on these
I have two of these. Bought one for my Xbox. Another for the PC in the far end of the house. For the price, you can't beat it.The one on the xbox does not support enough speed to get HD video from Netflix (and I am on Comcast that runs at 85+MBps and have a new Netgear router). Speed is also inconsistent. One day I test and get a good solid test around 35+, test the next day and it gets 18+. Have never seen speeds vary that much on items that do not even get moved around.Speed alone and it would have stayed 4 stars for this price. But these things seem to always drop their connections to the router. I have tried manual config. I have used the WPS button. I have tried with it connected to my Netgear router (WNDR3700), and I have tried with it connected to my brand new Comcast DOCSIS modem / router. Every day or two it just forgets who it is and who it is supposed to talk to. Have not had any trouble with the smart tv, wireless enabled blueray, either of my 3 laptops, our cell phones, just these things. Bought two and they both do it.So it goes like this. Kid yells 'no Internet'! Third light is off. Unplug this adapter and let it recycle. Once in 10 times it will reconnect and be good. Sometimes try rebooting router, again one in 10 times that might fix it. Only way to make it work again every time, is to power cycle both, hit the WPS button, run back to the other room and hit the button on the adapter, and let it learn its connection all over again. There is no reason this thing should forget its connection and configuration multiple times a week.I bought this to save money, and it costs me more in time and frustration to have to reset it twice a weekend at a min. Have just ordered a new N900 to see if it does better. If it has the same types of issues I will be done with Netgear completely.

Made my Polycom Soundpoint IP 550 wireless
I work from home and use a Polycom Soundpoint IP 550 daily. Originally I had it wired via traditional Ethernet. However since moving i wanted to avoid network cables running from my office and throughout the house. Converting my PC to a wireless network was easy enough, but i needed something for my phone. This was the answer. All i needed to do was plug it in and press the WPS button on both the adapter and my router, I got mine as a factory refurbished model from amazon, but the included instructions were easy enough. After a few moments the phone realized it was connected to a network again and now it works flawlessly. I was worried it was going to be an ordeal to get this to work, but at-least for me it was pretty plug-n-play.The device itself is pretty small, slightly bigger than a credit card, and maybe half an inch thick. I used Velcro to attach it behind my phone, i wanted it out of the way not floating around on my desk. My order came with the adapter, the power adapter, and a 3ft Ethernet cable. The photo i included is with a shorter 1 ft Ethernet cable i got on monoprice. Again, i wanted less clutter on my desk and couldn't cleanly fold up 3ft of Ethernet behind my phone. The call quality is unchanged, i have had no drops, or issues with sound quality. Fantastic alternative to a hardline.I'm glad I discovered this little gadget. my Phone doesn't have a USB port so using a traditional USB WiFi adapter was out of the question. This is a fantastic alternative.
