I will never buy a different pair of headphones!
I am not an audiophile; I actually didn’t buy these headphones for music at all. I bought them because I play a lot of video games and needed a headset, and instead of investing into a single-purpose headset I bought the AE2i’s.Pros:• Lightweight/Flexible• Great Sound• Low Price• Mic/RemoteCons:• Really long cordSound – By no means am I an audiophile, so I won’t compare these to other high-end headphones. But for the average users these sound great. I listen to mostly rap/hip-hop and these have perfect clarity with plenty bass.Design – At first glance the AE2i’s almost feel cheap, they are light, bendy and made of mostly thin plastic. However, this has become my favorite part about the headphones. Unlike the Beats Studios, the ear cups on the AE2i’s are big enough to fit AROUND-the-ear, which allows for hours of use without and irritation. They are thin, so no hot sweaty ears. And the bendiness allows them to be durable, I’ve dropped them several times and they still look and feel brand new.Price – This was a huge selling point for me, after being let down by a $300 pair of beats and a $100 pair of turtle beaches I wanted something that was worth the price. I believe I paid $130 for these and they are worth every cent.Overall, these are a fantastic pair of headphones for a reasonable price. I have only positive things to say about these. I do not think I will ever replace these headphones or buy another brand.

Good but not the most cost effective
These headphones are extremely comfortably, when i first put them on i was completely shocked, it felt like they werent even there, and i have a pretty massive head. Now the sound, Bose is known for their quality and clarity, and that's exactly what these headphones have. These headphones were definitely more lively to listen to then my $70 Sennheisers, but surprisingly not that much better. If you're on a tight budget i would definitely go for Sennheisers since they literally have almost the same performance for half the price of these.Another thing to note with these, the bass is not deep at all, which is not surprising since Bose is known to be a mid/high heavy headphone so if you listen to rap and house, these headphones might not satisfy your needs for bass so look further if you are any kind of bass head (the sol republic tracks/tracks hd are fantastic for that kind of music)In conclusion if comfort and brand name (and the ability to fold flat) is important to you then go ahead and spend the money, but if you just want a really good sounding pair of headphones then look at Sennheiser's since they are half the price with about the same quality.

Awesome! Didn't think I would buy Bose...
I had ruled out Bose from the beginning. I like their products, but felt they were overpriced. I ended up finding these 25 dollars less than the normal, on Amazon, and purchased. I love them. I wish they came with a hard case; expect to buy something if you want to protect these in a computer bag or something. They provide a flimsy little bag which does little more than keep the cord from getting tangled in your bag. I was searching for 'over the ear' headphones, so these don't come up in all the searches I did. You will see OE for 'over the ear' or AE for 'around the ear' in headphones. I tried them on in a store first, to make sure they actually covered my medium sized ears, and they do. They are super lightweight; one of the main reasons for purchasing. They fold flat. The connector is a standard 3.5mm plug, which actually is nicely angled and fits my iPhone5 with a slim Speck case. The cable can disconnect from the headphones, which is nice, if you end up breaking something. I originally wanted a thicker cable. This one is just fine. It's thicker than the cheap ones out there, but thinner than the fabric-coated ones from Beats, for example. This is the PERFECT length for listening to music from your phone. And I made sure to spend a few more bucks to get the AE2i (note the i) version, and the little clicker/volume control in-line device works great. You can advance tracks, or listen to volume. You can also click the middle to answer the phone or disconnect. Overall, a perfect mix of what I was looking for. And of course, they sound great, or I wouldn't have purchased in the first place.

Not what I was expecting from Bose
This is the first time I'm actually writing a less than 5 star review. This Bose product disappointed me in every single way, except for one thing, how comfortable these things are to wear.First let me start off with the Pros and Cons:Pros:-Most comfortable headphones I have ever worn-Clear sound quality for non-bass heavy music-Control for Apple devices works great-Folds and easy to take with you-Noise Cancellation is there and worksCons:-The new Apple Earpods sound better than these for $29-There is no bass whatsoever in these AT ALL.-I like my music loud, and when my volume on my iPod is set to full and I don't think it's loud at all, I find that to be a problem.-Easy to break-Not even worth $100-If you raise the volume to max, you get a little sound distortion which is rare for a bose product. The fact that the cheaper bose IE2i is cheaper, and yet, better sounding is sad. The Bose IE2i (the in ear headphones) sound 97781236872136X better than these, fit in your ear, easier to carry, have incredible bass, and are worth the money. If you are a easy music listener and do not care for any bass, these are perfect for you.I returned these for the Bose QuietComfort 15s. Those are $299 but are battery operated, have noise cancellation, and have the bass I'm looking for.I'm not saying these are horrible, i'm saying they are for a specific person. Bose doesn't make terrible products, but you have to know what is right for you. I recommend going into a bestbuy or bose store and listening to the bose headphones to see exactly what I mean.
