This product is excellent. After using the Touch of Silver I was very pleased. My hair had become rather limp after years of lightening so I tried this product. After the very first wash my hair had bounce and shine. I continued to use Touch of Silver and the results were always lovely. I recommend this product.

During lockdown I have decided to lighten my strawberry blonde hair, a job I normally save for the hairdresser. I'm pretty lazy with my hair and will usually just dye it purple or pink with a semi permenant when I want to have a change.Well I screwed up the bleaching and was left with brassy, orange/ yellow hair that should have been featufred as a fail on a Brad Mondo video.Anyway, this stuff saved the day and has made the horrendous orange subside. I will just dye my hair purple to hide the horror though until hairdressers open again!

I don’t like giving negative feedback, and on the whole, this is a great product. I just don’t like the smell, it reminds me of old-fashioned toilet cleaner. Sorry, but I have a very acute sense of smell and it possibly may smell different to other people, but I can only speak for myself. Change the scent and you’d have 5 stars from me.

I can't explain how relieved I am. I took my dark brown hair to maybe a level 7 (?) over two bleaches and tried 2 different bottled toners (Bblonde Platinum & Bleach London White) which did absolutely nothing. I used L'oreal's costa rica purple shampoo which also did nothing at all. Annoyed that I'd spent so much already trying to get the hair toned, my friend recommended this. I applied the shampoo to dry hair and left it on for 10 minutes before washing out and using the conditioner for 5 minutes and I was overjoyed to see the transformation! I no longer look like Boris Johnson! Hooray.

I’ve used other purple shampoos before but never bothered using the matching conditioner. Like all shampoos, this one felt pretty drying and my hair felt coarse and tangled when I washed it out. However the conditioner was great and a little went a long way, my hair feels soft and silky and was easy to de tangle. Colour-wise it has had the desired effect and has lifted the brassy tones from my highlights, I have the odd slightly lavender tint in some places but have had this with other purples shampoos and it’s not noticeable. Would buy again as a set as good value for both products together.

I have strawberry-blonde hair that is going white, and I'd been told that a purple shampoo could really brighten up the white streaks in my hair. This shampoo is effective, but it made all my hair a grey colour, which didn't look very nice. I have a lot of different colours in my hair, but they all kind of blended into one shade. The white streaks had a definite lavender tint, which was cool but not what I was hoping for. I think if one has dark, greying hair, wants a silver/purplish tint, or needs significant corrections to brassy hair, this product is probably helpful, but it just didn't work well for my hair colouring. I was also not a huge fan of the pseudo-grape smell.

I use this every other was and leave on for about 10 mins and it keeps my blonde blonde. Even my hairdresser said it looked nice when I went back to my regrowth. Well worth the money and the best so slicer out there and trust me I tried a few

This product is fantastic, I've used it for years! The reason some people may think it's not very good is because they treat it as hair dye. This is a shampoo designed to purify the hair and take out the yellow tones. Again not a hair dye. I've found it also works well on dry hair if you want that extra pull but that's just me. 5 stars everytime.

I tried these during a sale. It leaves my hair feeling dry, even with the use of the conditioner. It might work for you, I just don't understand my hair type.

Excellent product great price - I went to a salon and they wanted $60 for same product.
