I bought this for a stray pup who had fleas + ticks.The fleas immediately hopped out after applying this shampoo. I also gave him an Amitraz dip after shampoo. 2 days later, the ticks are gone but I found the fleas crawling on his body again, probably from newly hatched eggs which didn't get rinsed off the first time. I saw a noticeable decrease in itching and scratching after the first bath.So, yes, this shampoo works, but you may need to bathe the dog twice a week until all the unhatched flea eggs are wiped off.
