Perfect for rookies!
Im taking a bartender course at American Bartender School in NYC and my teacher (a man that has over 40 years of experience bartending) recommended this book because he says the autor is a genius bartender, a master on his profession, he knew him personally and said that he knows everything you need to know to be a good bartender. I got my book without even knowing it, but as I started reading it and going through the pages I fell in love with it inmediately! Is so detailed and gives you the basics of every cocktail and liquor! Everything you need to know to expand your knowledge about this amazing world! Also is a really good price for such a beautiful master piece! Can’t wait to finish it!

Easy read with a lot of info
Started bartending about 8 weeks ago. Learned so much from this book and always go back to reference it. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to learn.

The best book on cocktails out there.
Recipes are really good. This book is so under-rated.

The definitive guide to Mixology.
This book is awesome and basically a Bible of cocktail history and recipes. Enough said.

Great read with tons of recipes
A great read and tons of cocktail recipes! Do note if you’re intending to buy a guidebook for recipes only there’s about 70 pages of content in the history of liquor, cocktails and bar tending in addition to the recipes at the end.

Awesome Book!
I am very impressed with this book - recipes, stories of recipes, and the photographs. Would definitely recommend for anyone interested in expanding their cocktail list and trying new liquors.

Full of knowledge & fabulous cocktail recipes
I bough this book for my spouse. He’s beyond enamored with it. The knowledge, history and recipes that this book contains has really helped him study for a bar program; it’s also give me insight about a bunch of facts pertaining to the spirit craft. Outstanding book!

Deciding factor
I spent time looking though the recipes and techniques. I saw a few things that seemed a little off, but was still intrigued in what I could learn from this book. But when I came to the Old Fashioned recipe stating to muddle cherry and orange, I knew it was game over. NO.
