Monster High Great Scarrier Reef Down Under Ghouls Kala Mer'ri Doll

The selling point of this doll was the four arms and tentacles really. I love unique looking dolls like this. I kind of want to buy some more dolls from this series, especially the two headed one. Her arms move really well. I don't mind the color combination like some people do. I love the little details like the suction cups on her fingers. I love the glow in the dark feature too, I just wish it was on the yellow tentacles too, not just the pink ones. I will say this, I meant to say this in my other dolls reviews, that getting these dolls these days out of the packaging is total hell. I know they do that so people can't steal. But do they really have to secure the head with a piece of plastic that you nearly have to cut off (in some cases, risk cutting the hair). That's really my only downfall of this. This isn't amazon's fault. I get it, but I just wish the company had a better way to secure the dolls in the packaging. To be honest I think securing the chest, midsection, and legs will get the job done. Okay rant over, this is a great doll. :)

I've just recently gotten into monster high. Out of the four dolls I have so far, Kala is by far my favorite. I love her wild design, she's so unique. I feel like she was an absolute steal at $35, considering that it's hard to find any new in box mh doll for under $60. Speaking of the box, the one my doll came in was completely destroyed. Torn and smashed cardboard and plastic. I'm just glad the doll wasn't damaged. I seriously love her! Now I need to get Peri and Pearl to go with her.

Excellent doll perfect

I didn't realize how detailed this doll was until I got her! The doll is quite unique and can stand on her own. The yellow tentacles can move and twist from the base which I wasn't expecting, so that was a cool bonus feature. She also bends at both the hips and the upper torso, so she has a lot of posing possibilities. This doll's hips are much wider than other Monster high dolls so I don't think she can share their clothes; not like that's a big deal but I know some kids like switching the clothes around.

A nice addition for girls who love these dolls.

I love the purple coloring of her skin but I am unsure about the yellow tentacles and I am thinking about painting them dark purple. I also like the multiple posing arms...she reminds me of the Indian goddess Kali but with less arms of course. The biggest drawback for me is that she takes more standing room with the tentacles, but I am happy with this addition to my collection.

This doll is amazing. It has the detail and quality you come to expect from Monster High products, with articulated limbs and intricate face paint. This one is jointed to allow the doll to sit down, the pink tentacles are flexible, the yellow are stiffer to allow the doll to stand on it's own. Vivid colors and textures make this figure eyecatching and remarkable. My little girl was in love at first sight, and I am happy with the purchase. Shipping and delivery were quicker than expected.

She is unique in the doll category! the tentacles create a broad sturdy base so she is stable, and does not fall over easily,the glow in the dark features add to the mystique .Not wild about the super curly hair on the end of her hairdo, it might be designed that way to make it more obvious in her many arms display.Colors and design are well done, creating an overall atmosphere of a very cool doll!
