Jianxiu 88 Keys Roll up Electronic Piano Keyboard Flexible Roll up Electronic Keyboard Piano

I have used this piano at least once a week for 11 months on a Macbook Pro laptop with Windows 8 (my Macbook is bootcamped). In other words, while I use a Macbook Pro (which natively runs Mac OS X), I run the piano using Windows 8. Since the keyboard does not come with speakers, I use EveryonePiano which is able to detect this MIDI device after installing the drivers.Pros:- Exactly as advertised: 88 keys, rolls up, and works as a MIDI device.- After a year of use, no keys have broken.Cons:- WARNING. Drivers come on a MiniDisc (CDs have a 120mm diameter, MiniDiscs have a 64mm diameter) . Some computers cannot read MiniDiscs (for example, the Macbook Pro). I could not find the driver available online.- You may accidentally double tap the white keys and miss the black keys. The white keys have very little space between the top of the key and the trigger for the note, so it is easy to accidentally double tap a white key if your fingers are slightly shaking. The black keys, however, are raised above the white keys with some empty space between the key and the trigger for the note; this means that if you strike the black key at an angle you may not fully trigger the note. A year after using this product (and I admit that I also practice on an acoustic piano when available), I have not adjusted to the keys.- The instruction manual is very poorly translated into English.

I bought this piano because it's easy to carry with as I move frequently these years. And it totally serves well for that purpose. The downside, apparently, as written in other reviews, is that it's so difficult to manipulate. Sometimes you have to press very hard on the certain part of a key to make a sound, and sometimes you press one key just once and the sound will come twice. For this reason, I can never try to play something fast and accurate, and that's quite disappointing. All in all, this is definitely nothing I would recommend to a perfectionist, but a good choice to someone who already has a piano and needs a portable one to practice sometimes.

I took a bit of doing to be able to actually play it - and occasionally you have to 'reload it" because the sound goes away - but its fun and our friends and family members have enjoyed playing with it! Might bring it into the office for a little entertainment here!

Not sure if all the products are like this. I purchased a used one and it is just good for trash can. Doesn't work at all.

I'm a piano student who travels a lot for work, so I bought this to help me practice on the go. It can't play chords well, and it also doubles or triples notes when I just hit the key once. I got an 88-key version instead of the 61-key version so I could exercise my finger muscles for all of the songs I play. It will serve a purpose (maintaining finger strength on the go), but it is not suitable for recording actual songs.

Works great. Instructions are a little difficult though.

There has no CD drives in the box so that I'm not able to connet the keyboard to the computer.

Missing UBS cable and CD!!!!! Rrrrrrrrrr
