Tightly wound, stiff, not puffy like others, does not fray easily. Good for Gundam plastic models and cleaning glass pipes and bongs for tobacco. Shaft is bendy but stiff, can snap if bent too much. Pieces are not arranged side by side neatly, its just stuffed inside but it comes sealed. Package does not contain any plastic, its all paper, even the tape seal is paper. Great for my personal hobby use, I do not use on skin. Reviewers saying these break, of course they will break. They must use a lot of force. BBQ skewers, and tooth picks break. These bend, telling you to not bend any more. I too use for cleaning and rubbing. User error if it snaps.

I bought these for art projects specifically for stepping up excess water on small watercolor paintings. They are perfect! The swap part is pointed for precision work. The body is solid so there's no bending or breakage. I highly recommend for that purpose.

I love these bamboo cotton swabs. I have a little glass storage jar for cotton swabs that these look so elegant in. These are so sturdy and they have a good amount of cotton on them. They don't hurt your ear if you're cleaning them. Let's admit that a lot of us still clean our ears with cotton swabs. These are the luxury swabs. They're much better than plastic or paper. Give them a shot.

They work great if using cosmetically or on the body (medical, makeup, etc).I will say, the second one I used snapped on me - the bamboo stick can be a bit brittle.Takes some getting used to if you're used to the flexibility from paper q-tips - just be gentle with it.I definitely wouldn't recommend to use these for like... cleaning or electronic hardware work.Anything that would require extra force applied - best stick with paper ones that are more pliable compared to bamboo.I like bamboo products from both an aesthetic & sustainable standpoint so I figure its worth the extra buck. Also note the packaging is fully cardboard; no plastic. That's another plus for sustainability.

I wear hearing aids and have a problem with ear wax. I soak a swab end with light mineral oil and gently clean my ear canals. These work the best of all the brands I've tried (3), however, they can break if I try to scrub too hard. Have these on Subscribe and Save.

I am very particular about my cotton swabs. I very much dislike super bendy sticks. These are the stiffest swabs I have ever purchased. There is cotton on each end. While I like the cotton amount on these others might find it to be too little. These have noticeably less cotton on each end then other swabs. This in combination with the stiff sticks might feel too harsh for some. I love the conservation of them with the quality. I’m cleaning wax out of my ears, it does the job efficiently.

They do the job, and I feel good about the biodegradable, organic cotton. I would order these again!

As most of you, I wanted to go for a most eco friendly Q Tip. I’ve tried 2 other brands in the past and the cotton part on those always seemed lacking. My biggest problem was always that they didn’t put enough cotton on/it was woven too tight & was hard. These have been the BEST & CLOSEST version I’ve found to the original Q Tip’s that have similar soft cotton. Very happy with the cotton thickness. I’ve only had one (out of half the pack so far) bend a bit but not fully break so they’re pretty sturdy too!
