King’s War / Legend of Chu and Han (Chinese TV Drama, 20-DVD Set, Episode 1-80 End)

I wish Netflix would make more of these available for purchase...with English subtitles. There are several excellent Chinese historical movies that should be subtitled for sale to other countries.Kings War is very well done. I actually was so interested that I researched the characters for more historical information. I was pleased at how closely the producers/directors kept this to be historically accurate! I had to watch it several times to connect faces with names and understand the details of the various battles. Well worth my time and a go to for when I need to just sit and watch...not sit and jump up every few minutes to get things done. With subtitles, you have to pay attention! LOL...loved the story and the way it was presented.

The media could not be loaded. Needed better packaging worth the price of $200... That was really tacky how the inside looked.Oh I love love watching Peter ho in action.. I'm just disappointed in the case it came in.

Good picture, bad subtitles

I'm up to episode 16 out of 80. Gripping; Im thinking about it at odd times of the day wondering what's going to happen. Zhao Gao is the ultimate Big Brain bad guy who you love to hate... Epic battle scenes and amazing sets and costumes. I love watching the Qin army March; they have a chilling vibe. The symbolism is great; the white python and the great whale that becomes the common man. Li jiu's wife is the ultimate elegant and classy woman who just lives her dharma and doesn't complain. They are attractive people, great costumes, hair styles. Mostly I like the Confucian philosophy of duty to your brother, neighbor, family, and your community and the pact of trust and goodwill. We need more of that in our modern times.

I have seen this movie it's great, since I have finish it I have been hook on Chinese drama, my wife and myself just love them. We are at moment watching eternal love, it's great also so if you love these type of movies bye them. I give both of them 10 out of 10. Denis
