My daughter said her mother bought her this book but she no longer has it. She is really into anime drawing and this book helps her draw better. She wanted to have it again.

I can't describe how helpful I found this as a new artist. It's clear, concise, and was exactly what I hoped. Worth every penny.

Hands down the single best resource book for expressions that I've ever seen. Nothing is left out it includes characters of all ages and a good variety of art styles. It even has a detailed section of expressions while eating. A "must have" for meal scene that seems forgotten in nearly every expression book. Can't stress enough how great the book is for learning character expressions.

My 15 year old granddaughter is into drawing Anime characters. She loved the book. It has instructions on how to draw emotions on Anime characters. Very informative and easy to follow directions. Within a week her drawings improved significantly. She loves the how to draw emotions book.

Fantastic. Gave me a much better understanding to faces in the anime world. I believe this goes well with another book "drawing facial expressions" as that book helps to be more specific in what each expression really means.In using this book, my drawn facial features have improved immensely.

An absolute requirement for an artist wanting to draw anime/manga style. Wish there were more books as thorough as this one.
