Seychelle pH2O Alkaline Water Filter Pitcher - pH Enhancing Filtration - 100 Gallon Capacity - USA-Made Filter, 32oz

This filter is quite small and fits perfectly on my refrigerator door. It's about 9.5" from spot to the end of the handle and 9.5" tall. The filter certainly takes it's time filtering and the water flows out in a somewhat steady but thin stream. As a result, when I have to fill large pitchers I simply remove the filter and reservoir and set it on the top of my pitcher. I find it much more convenient that way. I also do that because when the filter is submerged within the pitcher, the reservoir often doesn't empty completely. As a result, If you pour filtered water out, it will mix with the unfiltered water within the reservoir. There is a small gap toward the top front as well as the top back of the reservoir that allows unfiltered water to pour out if it's too full or if you tip the pitcher too far over when the reservoir is full. So be mindful of how much water is in the reservoir when you move it about.The pitcher is filled when you pour tap unfiltered water onto the flap at the top. The flap will open automatically from the weight of the water being poured onto it. Make sure the flap is clean or the water will wash any dust/dirt that sits on it and into the reservoir.One reviewer mentioned that if you allow the filter to sit in the filtered water, it will shorten the life of your filter and the PH level will drop sooner than expected. I don't know how much truth there is because I haven't had the filter for very long nor have I tested the PH level. However, the water tastes great to me.I'll update this review when I get a chance to test the PH. I'm not sure if I'm going to use this filter in the long run seeing as how the filters are quite expensive to replace. But I love the fact that it fits on my fridge door!

Along with my pitcher purchase, I also got a PH meter (which actually cost more than the pitcher!). I want to be able to evaluate the performance of the filter over time. So far I am getting readings of about 10.0 after about a dozen fills. I do see that the PH falls off a bit as the water is stored. My tap water comes out at about 8.5 which surprised me. I bought this pitcher to deal with acid reflux after reading a book that offers alkaline water as one step in dealing with this problem. I have a family member who sells one of those expensive machines that talks to you that runs about $3000! I am pleased so far with this pitcher, but will offer additional updates as I see how long the filter continues to perform, etc. The pitcher is a good size for fitting in the refrigerator door.

As you can see by the picture this baby is pretty small, next time I'll get the large version. We had the old Seychelle filter that is twice the size of this however it kept clogging on us even when we purchased new filters, there are other reviews stating the same problem so I went ahead and purchased this new product from Seychelle.We have a huge water dispenser that I pour the filtered water in so the small size isn't that big of a problem but if we didn't have are huge water dispenser, this small pitcher would not work for our growing family, especially how much we consume water.I do love the feature of not having to take off the top of open anything to pour the water into which is a bonus!Sheycelle water filters always taste great, anytime we go to anyone else's house it's a HUGE difference in taste when they give us their "filtered" water from the top name brands like Brita etc.

Two things I wanted in a water filter...1) A good quality filter... that does the trick2) Made in USAThis filter satisfied both my requirements.I've already ordered my replacement filters - even though I don't need them yet, just to have them when it's time to change them out!The water, where I live smells like mold... and I could even taste it. This filter completely eliminates it.There's no after taste... just good refreshing water!

We have been using Seychelle water purifying pitchers for many years. This pitcher is the company's smallest pitcher, and it conveniently fits on our kitchen drain, for easy access when a glass of water is desired. This pitcher includes the filter in the price, which makes it even more attractive.

I ordered this alkaline filter because I have sensitive teeth, and the acid in coffee tends to hurt my teeth. By raising the pH with this filter, my coffee is less acidic , so I can actually enjoy it again. I've also found that the alkaline water is better overall for my heartburn, and the added minerals it provides give the water a better overall flavor than our flat tap water. It fits well in the fridge, but holds more than enough water for 1-2 people to use frequently. Love it!

I've had this for a while now and have replaced the filters twice. I followed the directions carefully and made sure to flush them out. Both times, the filters do not work well. After hours in the fridge, you go to pour yourself a drink and all of the water is still in the top part. It's really frustrating. I'd recommend buying something else.I will buy something else soon.

I am helping someone with cancer. Diet consists solely of 100% organic vegetables then juiced. Alkaline water is essential and lots of it. But the water needs to have all the poisons removed as well. This product is the very best tasting and cleanest you will find anywhere. This is my second unit and I will buy a third so that a good supply is immediately available.
