Q: I wear a size 4 in jeans, what size should I get?

I am 5'4" and size 2/4. Very happy with the medium.

Q: Do these tights have a "control top" or lines around the legs near the top? I don't want any lines around the thighs as i'm wearing it with a bodysuit

There are no lines! I wore it with a body suit as well. (If you click on view all images you can see the tights while I'm wearing the batman bodysuit)

Q: What size is recommended for a 5'1 height, petite girl?

I bought the small. I am under five foot with medium built legs. They fit well for several washings then start to stretch out.

Q: I have a dressy black skirt that comes just below the knees and will be wearing short black boots (booties). Will these work well with these?

Yes, that sounds like the outfits I wear. These are super comfy and just opaque enough. No need to put socks on over the hose, I wear boots right on them.
