Loving these Talens sketchbook. The perfect size at a great price and a lovely blue hard cover. Likes watercolor and ink as well as pencil. After the first few pages it will lie mostly flat. Thats a win in this price range.

Perfect size to throw in my bag, decent paper quality (best for dry media and just a little bit of watercolor or gouache), and best of all is the reasonable price point. That means I am not worried about making "ugly" art, this is just for me. If I am in the mood to paint something with multiple layers or watercolor or gouache, I would probably choose a book with watercolor paper but for daily sketching, this one is perfect.

I love this sketchbook so much, it’s my second time buying it now and it holds all kinds of mixed media. I’ve seen a lot of people talk about it and I’m certainly not disappointed. Since it’s not much gms, there will be bleeding, I don’t mind since it can be quickly covered up with either paper or decoration. Please give it a try :)!!

I have been seeing this brand come across many youtube videos and finally decided to try 1 myself. For just under $10 this has been a great sketchbook. It has a good paper thickness with some tooth (not smooth like Illo/Articka). The paper does get warped with watercolor, but I don't use this for final pieces so I don't mind that. It takes pretty much every medium well. My ONLY dislike, and it's personal, is that the pages are more yellow than I like (i prefer pure white). It also doesn't have a back pocket, but I can make and stick my own so that's not a deal breaker.

I couldn't be happier with my choice. This is a journal or whatever you want it to be. The construction of the book is amazing. It opens up flat no matter where you turn. I am using it as my notebook for bible study. Love it!

Way bigger than I anticipated! So that's pretty cool, the color feels a bit darker but it could be due to lighting, the pages itself however are a yellow rather than white. Kind of wish there were more pages as it says it has only 80 sheets but honestly with the length and thickness I think it's just me and would be a great sketchbook. It's only 140 gsm so I'm going to update hopefully and see how well it takes different media.

When we purchased this mini sketch book,my daughter thought that it was bigger than what it was,so when it arrived imagine our surprise to find out hey I am a little sketchy book. Honestly I thought oh great here we go will have to return it and deal with the disappointment. But after examining it closely my little artist was surprised at the quality of the paper, she tried drawing her what they call ocs with markers and squealed with delight that markers don't bleed through the paper. She also felt that size was exactly what she was looking for. Will purchase again
