Application was easy and worked perfectly. ApI think this was a quality product and I would recommend.

This kit allowed me to repair two hoses. They were different types and one presented a challenge you may encounter. First hose was a common 5/8 rubber garden type, This was so easy the caveman could do it. I Set the hose in the sun to warm up. Un boxed the repair kit, very pleased with the fit and finish of all parts, I simply used a rubber mallet to install the hose end and installed the clamp. Fast easy and everything fit perfect and no leaks. The hose end is aluminium brass colored so it needs to be handled with care for all its life. I keep a spray end on mine. So no worries. The second hose required a little caveman engineering. As it was a contractor grade no kink hose. It is a bit larger OD and the clamp fit was much tighter. The big deal was the no kink feature. Imagine a plastic wire running the length of hose to reduce kinking. I used a dremel and sanding drum to remove this plastic bump on hose ID. Once removed hose end went in and no leaks. Overall happy with this repair kit.

These are hard to push into the hose and the clamps need to be a little larger on inside diameter. The screws need to be longer to reach the threads on the female side of the clamp. The clamp has to be squeezed very hard to get it to fit over the hose and th screws to reach.!!!!!

Very easy to install and correct fit. This is my 2nd set. Last long time and will not rust or get damaged easily with drops on concrete.

I tried to replace the head on a very standard garden hose (3/4"). First, the screws were WAY too short, then when I finally clamped the outer clamp tight enough to get the screws to thread, they immediately stripped.Tried the second unit in the package, and substituted my own, longer screws. This seemed promising, but the seal was incomplete because of the poor design of this product. Turned on the water supply and watched as the hose head slipped out slowly, then shot out and exploded off of the end, almost taking out my eye.And on top of that, this set is ridiculously expensive for what it is - I was expecting the very best at this price.In my opinion, Amazon should stop selling this product.

Cheap pot metal and plastic.Very difficult to push into my 5/8 hose. Probably easier on a 3/4 hose.So far is not leaking. Not sure if it will survive dropping on the asphalt.Inexpensive to buy and not worth more than that.
