Dog Can swim and his head will be safe
Its fine, very good for the price, I ordered an XS. Only remark is that I have a 7 month old poodle Toy and the neck park is a bit big for him, but it’s not a big deal, its safe for the sea anyway you just have to keep an eye on your pet if there are waves. I really believe that this will still fit him (and even better) when he’s already an adult dog. The color is very vivid, i love it, you can even put the leash on which is great. The material is good, feels strong and extra safe.

Good Vest for Tiny Pups
I’d never taken my shih tzu swimming and read that they aren’t great swimmers due to body shape. It was hard finding something his size that wasn’t too heavy. I would highly recommend this if you have a tiny pup like my which tzu who’s only 12lbs and very tiny around the middle. I tested this out on him in a full bath tub before taking to the beach. It didn’t weigh him down and he swam well with it. I’m not sure how well it will hold up over time, but it worked well 3 days in a row at the beach.
