First, I highly recommend this door. It’s our second one. We left our first one in a house we sold. My ONLY issue was that this one was not packaged safely and arrived with the glass completely shattered. It was imbedding in everything. We had to cover the broken glass with thick duct tape just to return it in a new box or the post office wouldn’t accept it. It’s the first time we received a package fromAmazon like that in over 15 years. It looked like it was opened then taped shut. Not new as advertised, which probably explains what happened.They were wonderful about a refund.Again, this a a great door! Highly recommend.

Perfect for my two Jack Russells. One my dogs is blind. He learned quickly how to go in and out. The height is perfect, so he doesn't trip or have to jump through the door.The top is spring loaded, so it makes it easy to remove the door, as it's only temporary during the hours I'm working from home.I bought some extra weather stripping, because the roll they provided was too thin to fill in the voids, where my sliding door is warped. I improvised the black seal strip and used it for covering the outside gap (panel to door), to help ward off insects and weather. Because the panel is temporary, I made sure to put a separate seal strip on the spring loaded section and had it over lap without sticky side on lower half. So when I go to take it out for the night, I'm not damaging the seal.I didn't use the lock or t-brackets included since the panel is only temporary.A quick way to get your dog out the door... yell squirrel!!!

We had to send back bc we don’t have standard doors. Just make sure you measure the height of your existing sliding door. We were a foot short haha. We ended up having one installed through the side of our house, this was supposed to be a temporary fix. I have had one like this before in an apartment and it’s great.

The door was easy to install and has held up well. This door has made life easier for my wife and me as well as our Boston Terrier.

Connecting bars were missing, and the stupid chat bot is absolutely useless. I hope to call and talk to someone tomorrow. Please, say your customer service is closed for the evening, and to call in the morning. Your idiotic chat bot is responsible for this lousy review. Or allow me to order the missing parts. What is the matter with you?Online videos do not explain why every brand of sliding glass door I have ever owned does not align with the dog door or why the dog door does not fit the same track as the glass door; usually, it fits in one of the adjacent tracks or interior tracks. This problem is not documented anywhere. I guess I am special, and everyone else, especially in the videos, is just lucky. Making doors on adjacent tracks lock is really changing.I tried to order this for my home in Mexico, but it is not available there even though it is manufactured there. So, I had to import it via a freight forwarder and pay a 19% tariff (soon to have an additional 25% added) for something manufactured here in Mexico. That must be one of the dumbest tariffs. Do they realize that they are placing a tariff on their manufactured goods? I am going to protest the tariff and try to find the factory in Mexico and bypass the middle man in the U.S. This is crazy. I feel so sorry for Mexicans.

Perfect and easy installation.

I got this pet door because my dogs are almost 5 lbs and almost 8 lbs...thinking I needed the smallest door made; this door was hard for my handyman to install: required longer screws than were included to make door stable and secure in the opening; this door lets in a lot of cold air; the strip of insulation sent with the door was very inadequate; I ordered a much better insulative strip, but, it doesn't keep the cold air out good enough to be comfortable.
