Seneo 720P HD WiFi Wireless Ip Camera Home Security Camera with Two-Way Audio and Night Vision

We were paying a monthly monitoring system to a security company and when I saw these cameras I figured they could do the same thing for a lot less money. I purchased two of them and have been extremely satisfied. The only drawback is the lack of instructions for set up. After getting the first one up and running, the second one was easier. My girlfriend was so impressed with the quality of the picture and the night vision that she also purchased one.EDIT: As of a few days ago, both of the cameras went offline and I have not been able to discover the problem. The manual that was included for setup is of absolutely no help. I will be contacting the manufacturer to see if there is any support there. Dropped down to 4 stars.EDIT: Update! I solved the problem of offline cameras by resetting the button on the bottom of each camera and starting all over again. Success! Each time setup gets a little easier.Back up to 5 stars!

Well I didn't expect much of a camera that is under $100 dollars so this was a pleasant surprise. It was a little difficult to set up because the instruction book is very basic, but in about 15 minutes I had it connected to my phone and computer. It can be controlled remotely with your phone to pan and tilt. Night vision works great and speaker to talk through. I use it to keep an eye on my cats when I am at work. Mainly I use it for security in case of a break in. I am going to buy a second one for my living room. I highly recommend this camera.

Works great for the price. Easy to setup, only took 5 minutes or so, including creating an account. Stickers and QR codes on the box and camera make it easy to configure. Picture quality is high in day and night conditions.I'm especially impressed with how well it works in dark and mixed light. Nice range of features from audio (listening and speaking), video recording, and snapshots. App is straight forward to use and to install on the phone or tablet. We're using it on an Android phone and tablet, plus an iPhone and an iPad.Update 8/17: I added a 64GB SanDisk memory card so I could use 24/7 recording. While the docs say it's limited to 32GB, the 64GB card is workign just fine. About 4 days of video are stored at 720p in 30 min increments. Videos' are easy to view via the mobile app. This little camera just keeps plugging along.

I've had a few IP cameras, and work in networking hardware. I don't say that as an expert, just my experience coupled with other IP Cams I've used.First, I purchased this early when it had 10-12 amazing reviews. Being a prime member for 8 years, I should know better. I figured out after the fact they were all incentivized reviews.Pros: it works. Picture is ok, it doesn't respond real well to different lighting when scanning a room.Cons. There's no dedicated software for it (the 3rd party iOS app is utterly useless). Nothing for desktop. I created a domain so my wife could easily access it remotely. Unfortunately the iOS app, using a plain browser eliminates most of the functionality other than being able to view the camera feed live.None of this would be an issue except it doesn't integrate with anything. Not even network storage. A network cam you can't use with a Network storage?You have to plug an SD card in for storage, which is silly and and very restrictive.This was an impulse buy, so I had this coming. Learn from me- if you can't find brand/model documentation on google, prob best to save yourself the headache.

I was skeptical buying a unit for such a cheap amount, especially with all of the features listed. Setting up the device took me less than 10 minutes for wireless use. I should point out that I use this camera for monitoring my dog, not for security purposes. If it were for security, I'd probably give this three stars as the motion detection feature is spotty.For non-security purposes, it's excellent. The wireless streaming is definitely nice. I've noticed there's about a 1-2 second delay when using wireless over ethernet. The ability to control the motion of the camera remotely is SUPER awesome and VERY responsive when using the app. The app also seems to allow for unlimited cloud storage. I've recorded dozens of videos, and there doesn't seem to be any limit to storage...The only issue I have with the camera is that it does not pan down very low. So, if you plan on placing the unit high up for mounting, you won't see anything below the camera for at least 30 feet or so.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! It did not work out of the box. Over two hours spent trying to link it with a Netgear router/modem. Will be returned for refund. Cannot connect with Seneo, the presumed manufacturer, by phone, email (except through Amazon), or website. There is something very fishy about this "company". The favorable reviews are mostly from those who got the product for free. See [...] for more information and their grade which is an "F".

The video quality is good but I'm not a fan of the "Smart Camera" or "Cloud Camera" meaning you have no idea where the video feed is going. With a traditional IP camera you setup the ports and you know who is accessing the video feed. With this product you have no control over the network settings and no way to access the video through 3rd party apps or clients. You have to use their app only.

A couple weeks ago I found a ip camera on a Amazon lighting deal. It was horrible. Returned it the same day. Went looking for a HD ip camera. Having surgery next week and wanted a camera that I could keep an eye on the pups while I'm in hospital for the day. This camera is AWESOME. Took less than 5 mins to setup (not including me running the power cord down the wall to hide the cable). Setup in less than 10 seconds to my WIFI. The picture is amazing. I can zoom in, zoom out. Here the pups. Talk to the pups. Very impressed.
