1lb does pack a punch..
I am sooooo glad I bought these! I was skeptical at first because they are only a pound a piece and I really did not think they would create any impact. Boy, was I wrong! These have REALLY amped up my workout. I can really feel the burn in my arms now. I originally wanted they four lb. per glove pair (from another company). I am glad that I started with these...4 lbs. would have been just way too much for a beginner. These fit well and stay in place. The fingers and thumbs are very comfortable. Your entire palm is open so your hands are not uncomfortable and sweat soaked. A word of caution...If you are male, you probably would not want to purchase these as they run small. I love them and will not work out without them. The low price did not hurt either... :)

Great way to add some resistance!
These were recommended by Andrea Allen. Instagram @deliciouslyfitnhealthy. I used her for personal training and had great success, so I figured I’d try out the gloves she mentioned to me. I love them! I use them for kickboxing and basically any exercise that has my arms moving a lot. They seem really well made. The velcro is sturdy and the weighted portion of them doesn’t flop around while exercising. I almost wish I had some that were heavier, (these are 2lbs), but these offer enough resistance to challenge my arms and shoulders without limiting mobility. They don’t rub/irritate my wrists or hands either during workouts. 10/10 would recommend them.

Comfortable and never feel they're in the way.
I really like these gloves. The idea of how they go on and stay securely is so simple an idea but ingenious. Not sure why this concept has not been used before. The right glove's hole for the pointer finger seems small or sewn oddly. It cuts the circulation off my finger. The left glove fits, ha ha, like a glove. The right glove fits fine except for that finger. I partly resolved the problem by shifting the weight slightly and tugging at that finger's elastic to try to stretch it out. I do not have extra large hands/fingers. I can normally fit in small to medium sized gloves. I may end up unstitching that finger a little. This is not a reason for me to not use it though. I've been able to wear these gloves while doing things around the house without my movements being obstructed. My main reason for this purchase was to go from housework to doing simple, lightweight arm exercises like lateral raises, front raises, pulsing, or while shadow boxing. I can easily transit from chores to a quick bout, back to chores and never feel like the gloves are in the way.

Awesome Gloves!
I’ve tried 6 or 7 different brands of 4 pound weighted gloves. For some reason, it’s hard to find 4 lb gloves. I have looked for 3 lb, or more, but have yet to find anything so I use weights in addition to the gloves. Out of what I’ve tried, these are the best. I’ve gotten four or five pairs. They last a long time, but mine start to smell. My workouts are long and intense, and I have an abundance of sweat glands apparently. Great product- I really recommend them. And to the company: can you make a heavier glove?!?!? :)

Comfortable. Great way to tone without actually working out.
I am currently unable to exercise due to a health condition, so these are a great way to tone my muscles while I go about my day without really raising my heart rate. I originally wore extra ankle weights on my wrists, but they always hung down onto my hands and pulled at my joints. I have to take them off to do certain things like obviously washing my hands or handling laundry because there is a chance the excess velcro can get stuck on the clothes you're handling and ruin the fabric- but in general they're really easy to wear and full blown working out isn't required to benefit from using them. I wear them 3-5 days a week for most of the day, and I saw results within the first few days.

Not So Good For Small Hands & Wrists
I just received my gloves. I ordered the all black, 4lb set which are 2 lbs each. It doesn’t look like they are in stock anymore, I just ordered them on 6/18/20.They arrived loose in a plain, cardboard delivery box. They were not packaged with any tags, outer wrapping or in a box like I would expect a new item to arrive, so I hope they are new and not used. An exercise guide was included, and that was in plastic. As for the fit: I have small hands for an adult woman. I am 5ft and my ring size is a 4-5 to give you an idea. I also have small wrists. When I put the gloves on, I still have a tiny bit of room in the holes for the fingers. I wish I could adjust the wrists for a bit of a better fit. They’re a little loose, not bad, doable, but just wish I could make the part around the wrists a bit more snug. That said, I am still looking forward to using them. I plan to use them while doing power walking and step aerobics. They feel well made. I’ll do an update after I’ve used them a few times.UPDATE: Sadly, I will need to return these. They slipped around a lot on the top on my hands and were too loose around my wrists. These are not the right gloves for women with small hands or wrists. I was really looking forward to using these in my workouts. Back to using my wrist weights.

AWESOME! but be careful.
I really like these gloves! No the weights are not removable.WARNING: They are a pound each (I misread and thought they were only half a pound at first.) Which is not bad but please be aware that having that much extra weight on the end of two of your limbs can cause injury because you are not used to it and what it does to your sense of balance. I used these on one of my Zumba workouts and almost threw my back out because I was always so used to just waving my hands everywhere like the instructors do. Hold back a little until you are used to the added weight. But overall I really liked them and I think they help up your cardio throughout any work out and strengthen arms and shoulders.
