KEEN Men's Newport H2 Closed Toe Water Sandal

I loved my last pair but finally the tread was too bad. I was worried the next, new pair would not be as good, but they are.

I like these so much I bought a second pair. They were true to size and they fit my feet perfectly. I've been wearing these sparingly for 7 months and they are still a bit stiff but I'm hoping they will soften up with more wear. They were on almost 40% off so it was a big win for me.

Love these sandals. Replaced them after the sole of a previous pair finally wore down after five years and a lot of wearing. Had to exchange the new ones for a half size up. Now great. Not sure why the sizes are a bit smaller now...

This is my third pair of these sandals and at this point I can only comment on the sizing. The first pair I bought were size 11; they lasted maybe 7 years before the soles wore out and there wasn’t any damage to the stitching or upper when they died. The second pair I bought a size 10.5 because the first pair felt a little too big. They lasted about 3 years before the suede trim by the ankle on one sandal ripped. I kept them another two years and got rid of them mostly because of their appearance, the sole was worn but still had some life left. They were still very roomy. I just got the ddye8 color in 10.5 and they’re the best looking pair yet. The sole is still the same and I expect them to last as long as the soles on my other pairs. However they definitely feel tighter, closer to my foot, than my previous 10.5s, almost like they’re halfway between a 10 and the old 10.5. I’d prefer the roominess of the old 10.5s but they’re still comfortable enough to keep. Hopefully the stitching will hold up a little better than the last pair.

When our family was planning a recent vacation to Belize, with a tour of the Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) cave, I knew I needed some water shoes with good traction. Some research pointed me to these. The hike to the cave includes a trek through the Belizean jungle, 2 river crossings over slippery rocks, before swimming into the mouth of the cave. Inside the cave, you wade through waist-deep water, climb slick rock formations, etc.. These shoes gave me the support and drainage that was perfect for this trip. Despite the price being a bit higher than I expected, I'd still buy another pair of these in a heartbeat.

I like Keens since they have a wide toe box and I have wide feet. Normally I wear a 13 wide. I tried that with these, and they were too tight. 14 worked fine. So for me, 1 size up on the order. My only complaint is the sole material is hard, not soft at all. So they don't grip very well in some circumstances despite the lugged sole. That wouldn't stop me from buying these again though. Overall they are very good.

They are very awkward to get on. Okay but not as good as the ones from LL Bean that they replaced. I was expecting a better product from that company and for that price.

I pretty much live in my Keen shoes. My last pair lasted nearly 13 years and I’d be wearing them spring, summer and fall. These are made with the same durable construction as my original ones and I look forward to the next 13 years with these.

Comfy and hard wearing, just like I remember how merrels used to be.

Der Schuh ist optisch sehr schick.Er fällt leider eher klein aus.Ansonsten ok.

These sandals are well made and very comfortable. They are great walking shoes.They are exactly what I was looking for.
