Great to have spare batteries
My camera and light kit can run through batteries pretty quick. This charger makes sure that I have spares ready to go at anytime. I'm happy.

Great backups
You get two batteries and a charger. Having used it, it does not hold the charge well as the original battery, it is also deceptive that it starts with a full charge and drop quickly. However, i have three batteries which easily last me a whole day. I have not used the charger to charge the original battery and do not keep these batteries inside the actual camera.

replacement camera battery.
Bought to replace the failing original 8 year old battery. Unable to obtain replacement from my usual camera shop, as their supplier is unable to get them from the the manufacturer as they consider any camera over 7 years old is obsolete !. Anyhow plenty available on Amazon, I could of bought a Sony branded one for £35, but chose the Enegon package of 2 compatible batteries with charger that works from a usb port, for £24. As only purchased last week, I cannot comment battery life or longevity, but the camera works, and that is good enough for me.
