BEWARE OF FAKES! See pics for comparison. BUY FROM AMAZON DIRECT!
BEWARE OF FAKES BEING SOLD BY VARIOUS SELLERS AND SHIPPED BY AMAZON. (My seller was RinajeroS)I like this product and didn't want to rate the product 1 star just to get attention but ! want to make sure people know that there are fakes of these being made and passed off as authentic. There are many ways to tell if you have a fake. I was initially tipped off when the charger included was a generic looking iPhone type USB plug. I googled images of the Amope and saw that the charger was supposed to look different. Then when I tried charging the unit, it wouldn't fit securely on the charger. It needed to be placed very specifically on the charging contacts. It just seemed like the molding was off.I ordered a unit sold directly from Amazon to ensure that I would be sent an authentic Amope and I am including some comparison pictures.1) The plastic used in the authentic Amope is thicker and looks nicer than the flimsy and cloudy plastic used on the fake.2) The cardboard insert from the Amope has an imprinted number above the bar code on the side. The fake doesn't have that imprinted number.3) The Amope has an anti-theft connecter. It is a piece of plastic that locks the Amope to the plastic tray. There are also holes in the plastic tray to allow this piece of go through. The fake doesn't have a connector or the holes in the tray.4) The color is darker on the fake and the white area is yellower. If you look at the fake long enough, it starts to look cheap. That was another thing that tipped me off initially when I started to suspect it was fake. I started seeing gaps in seams and poor workmanship. It just looked cheap. The authentic Amope looks really nice and like a quality product.5) On the back side of the Amope, in the silver area under the roller head, you will see an ETL listed mark. The fake doesn't have this mark.6) The charger for the Amope has blue around the contact points as well as where the cable connects to the base. The USB charger that connects to the cord has some writing on the back and has a specific shape that you can see in my image. If you get anything other than that charger and plug, you are probably looking at a fake.My suggestion is to buy directly from Amazon to avoid getting a fake. You can't even trust items that have Prime shipping and are fulfilled by Amazon because the sellers ship the counterfeit items to Amazon and they look real enough that they slip through. Thankfully Amazon has a good return policy.

Six Years Later - Never Have to Be Ashamed of Your Feet Again
I have had embarassingly rough/tough/caloused/heel cracked feet for over 30 years. I have purchased shoes to hide my disgusting heels. When single, was extremely embarassed of my feet and my new partner seeing them. It has been a very difficult life long issue.Until SIX YEARS ago. I have had this product for literally six years. Just have to keep buying replacement rollers, of course. Have not had to replace the original device. It isnothingshortofamiraclefor those of us with genetically dry/cracked feet and skin.Recently, I leveled up. I bought a couple packages of coarse replacement rollers. And then spent a couple of days dedicated to returning my feet to the smooth state of my early teens. So I would do a treatment every half hour or so and massage and moisturize my feet in between. (Make sure not to go to long and not to roller your feet raw - it can happen). And ..I would have no problem at all getting a foot massage now.For the majority of my adult life, when getting a pedicure, I would tip 40% because I felt so bad for the person that had to touch my feet.No longer. This - truly - has been life changing for me and all I can do is thank the inventors. And no, I wasn't paid to write this lol. I just am someone who has had a lifelong issue resolved by a very inexpensive product.

Seriously life-changing. An absolute bargain.
I’ve had dry, cracked areas on the soles of my feet for years, and areas with thick callouses that crack and get painful. Periodically I would cut away big areas of dead skin, but the callouses would always come back. They looked disgusting and the dry and cracked areas were often painful. I tried using special foot cream twice a day, that helped if I did it regularly but as soon as I stop, I’m quickly back to square one.I saw this device on a Prime Day sale and thought I’d take a chance and see if it would help. Wow, did it help! In less than ten minutes I’d used the heavy “grinding” blade to remove all the callouses and smooth away all of the cracked skin. They’re just gone! My feet look like a different person's feet, and the pain is gone. I absolutely couldn’t believe how easy it was. Where has this thing been all my life? For other guys out there, I’d describe this tool as almost like a Dremel grinder but with the grinding tool rotating perpendicular to the tool for ease of use. Obviously the three different “heads” supplied are appropriate for your feet, I used the most heavy-duty of the three but in the future will try the more gentle ones.Maybe I could have solved my feet problems years ago with a professional pedicure, I don’t know if they use similar tools because I’ve never had one and never really wanted to go that route. But this tool costs less, I imagine, than just one professional pedicure, and I expect it will last for years. It’s well made and seems sturdy.I don’t usually gush, but this thing has solved a problem I’ve been struggling with for years. So glad I bought it.

It works best when someone else runs it
I purchased it for my wife as a alternate to my rotary tool which when used by me on her feet works well but takes a steady hand, she could not use it by herself. It's hard to do anything on the bottoms of your own feet unless your triple jointed and work a sideshow so this tool works well for those who can reach and it wont burn a hole if you linger to long in one spot. It's charging hookup is cool with the magnet and the three different spools give options on how aggressive you want to be on the problem spots.
