Cool Bed- Follow Directions Step by Step
We purchased this toddler bed for our son who was 1 1/2 at the time. He had to move out of his crib because he would climb out multiple times a night, his crib was high off the ground, and I was afraid he was going to get a serious injury. His crib also did not have a toddler conversion option. He loves this bed, and although he was not much of a talker at the time he said "cool" for the first time. We try to support Little Tikes Made in the USA toys when we can. You would be amazed at how much they produce in the USA. The bed was a very large delivery, and almost didn't fit through our front door. My husband put it together himself in a couple hours. It was fairly easy to put together. REMEMBER to FOLLOW the DIRECTIONS STEP by STEP. If you don't put the night lights on when the directions call for them, you will have to disassemble the headboard and start over. We have had it for a year now and it has held up well. My daughter loves it as well, and they often want to go to my sons room to play on his bed. He will be growing out of it in probably another year, but it will be converted into a great toy box in the playroom when that time comes.Pros-cool factor-built in toy box-study construction-low to the ground and mattress is recessed so no need for toddler bed bar-built in night lights-built in bookshelfCons-expense for 2 years of use as a bed-large delivery box may not fit in some front door

Bed full of adventure.
My son is a big fan of Jake and the Neverland Pirates and we saw this pirate ship bed in a store and he just had to have his very own "Bucky" bed. He loves sleeping in his Bucky bed now that we have it. I will say this, the bed is much bigger in his room than it seemed in the store, but it is a great bed for your toddler to sail off to sleep in. It has three battery operated lights on the headboard which allow him to turn a light on if he needs it at bedtime or in the middle of the night. Each light is on a timer and automatically shuts off after a few minutes. On the front there is the ships wheel and cannon which comes off with storage under for any treasure your child wants to keep safe. This is a great bed for your child to transition from a crib, because it has high sides which give your child that feeling of security and they won't fall out. My son did have a little trouble falling asleep the first few nights because he wanted to play, but now has not problem sleeping in the bed.For the parents, the assembly instructions were easy to follow. All the pieces fit together correctly, with no issues with the pre-drilled holes. The bed has held up to a year's worth of adventure from our three year jumping in out while on adventures. We have recommended this bed to friends and families with kids.

Great Bed
This bed is awesome. It took some time for me to put it together, but well worth it. My son loves it and it is huge. If you have a smaller room you might not want to order this. There were a few issues with delivery, but things were worked out. Also this bed is cheaper on walmart.com sight which is why i rate it four.

MY BOY LOVES IT.
I am happy to say that my boy loves this bed so much. There are 3 night lights that he loves to press on and off (although, you need to purchase a buttload of batteries for them). The 2 on the sides have an automatic timer, so they will eventually turn off on their own if you happen to forget to turn them off. But, the light in the middle does not have a timer, so it will stay on. The steering wheel and cannon is also loads of fun and has a hidden storage area below it. Since the storage unit cover is not bolted down, my boy has fell back a few times while playing with the steering wheel, which is kind of a flaw with the design. It was also quite easy to build the bed. The manual recommended to use a drill, but we did perfectly fine with just a screw driver. I also want to mention that the box we got had MANY MISSING ITEMS! The entire bag of hardware and screws were missing, as well as the floor boards for underneath the mattress. I contacted the Little Tikes company directly and they were happy to mail us the missing pieces, which took about 4 days to arrive. Other than that, the bed as a whole is pretty great.

Awesome!
I was weary of buying this bed sight unseen, but I am sure glad I did. The detail and overall craft of it are just amazing. It has neat little shelves for books, or juice... perfect for your juice. Awesome little lanterns on each side and a light bar in the middle below the mast, that are all timed and run on AAA batteries. This thing is huge, but having a built in toybox makes the size worth is. It made my son's room look 100 times more organized simply by hiding all his little monster trucks. We were able to put it together within an hour and had no issues whatsoever, but I used a drill which probably shaved off half the time alone. Everything fit together flush and easily. Decals were easy to apply and did not bubble. My little monster is almost three and although his first love is monster trucks, he has not saying Arrrrg since we slapped this thing together. Hands down the best thing I could have bought him to turn his boring room into a room any kid would flip for. I wish they made this bed in a queen! haha, no but seriously somebody get on it.

Love it!!!
Never in a million years did i think this would work. After hearing horror stories about the switch from a crib to a todler bed and kids not staying in bed, i thought i was doomed while shopping around. then i noticed that my son at the age of 2 really enjoys "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" so why not get him something like that. This bed was easy to put together and since night one, he loves going to bed. its now been 3 months and no issues with bed time where as before, he would cry. vary important lesson if you are shopping for a bed as you kids first toddler bed. pay attention to what they like a feed off that energy. pirates worked for my son:) now when he wakes up early in the mornings, he grabs a book, or opens the toybox on the front of the bes and will play quietly until we come get him.
