It's not a Crap-ford, its better
Solid lockup, solid design, solid blade, super super sharp out of the box. Seriously, better QC than the crap-ford. I refuse to put money in that business but still liked the look of this beefy, useless tank. Is it heavy and stupid to carry? Yes. Does it have the wow factor? Yes. Is it worth the money? Absolutely yes. Worst comes to worst its a sexy paperweight. But in all seriousness, I carry this, no problem. It takes up more real estate in my pocket than it should for an EDC blade but this isnt an EDC blade. If you want something that you can beat the mess out of and not worry about losing money, get this. Its awesome and worth it.

Glorious Marriage of Terror and Beauty
Wow, I was skeptical but took the plunge and bought 2, and gotta say, all the hype is real. You cannot go wrong at this price.Absolutely devastating display of heft, tight tolerances, and the aesthetics feel like a combination of futuristic weaponry combined with a hauntingly charismatic presence like the old world architecture. (Think Cologne Cathedral in Germany meets Halo 3 / Gears of War video game )Bottom line, even if the steel is 440C, you will have a Cheshire grin on your face the entire day carrying it. I am using as an EDC despite the nearly 12 ounce weight and donāt plan on shelving it. Itās truly ridiculous in the best way and you will be happy you got it while it exists.Tank-like feel, Zero blade play, blade (almost) perfectly centered. A little tight at first to open but the oil will loosen it up after a hundred deployments. Came very sharp but not arm-shaving sharp. Excellent knife for the price! A+

Hit or miss..
Came quickly. You get what you pay for. Decent for the price.Finish is 5/10 (blade came stained or rusted)Fit is 6/10 (lockup is moderate but uneven surface which could slip off)Sharpness 6.5/10Price 10/10Overall 7/10. Decent buy.

Heavy duty, solid knife. Nice, but not great.
Well built, solid, and good feel. Not a one hand operation is its downfall. Itās okay, but not Wow. Was expecting more, but for the price itās what you get. Gave it a 4, but that was being kind.

a lot of knife for the money!
Big, heavy survival/camping folding knife. All steel.Heavy, classic design, high quality, blade centered, no wobble anywhere.Could chop with it, so robust. Shaves hair sharp.Liked it so much, bought 3, one for me, two for gifts.copy of a $2,000 or so Medford knife for about $31.Two versions are out there...D2 or 440C440C for no rust but dulls fasterD2 can rust, harder to sharpen, but keeps and edge longer

Things a brick
The media could not be loaded. Hard to believe the price tag. I guess we'll see how it holds up. But it's a hefty knife to throw in the ol pocket that's exactly what I wantedšš

GREATEST CLONE EVER!
Iāve Handled the real thing got close to buying it but when I found out Medford actually gets the parts milled then assembles them making it a mid tech at best, I just canāt spend custom money on a high grade production knife, for 200$ Iād get the real thing, but yeah itās not 200 or double even, itās 725$!Over priced for never actually being handled by mr Medford himself. ( MADE IN US, a excellent way to overcharge for people that are just on their high horses, I hate to break it to the haters but the Chinese know what they are doing production wise! Own a cell phone by chance? See? )The action on this is very close to the real thing ( not a flicker so donāt expect a flick action ! ) , no play solid lockup an way overbuilt plus the blade is actually holding up very well.In fact Iām surprised it hasnāt been removed itās that similar and just that good.Feels great and is a beater in a half.Iād actually use this more then the real one š because 27$ vs 725$ I feel a lot better thrashing a tool vs a collective item that knife flippers get then over charge to re sell.I love Medford knives love um!, but really if your looking at one but not sure if itās worth the $BUY ONE OF THESE BEFORE THEY ARE GONE!BUT donāt get them and flip them as the real thing! That gives clones a bad reputationThis just allows the everyday user to experience something thatās normally out of reach. On a final thought-There that good, Iām probably grabbing a few more.
