5/8" width makes all the difference!
Good tape with 5/8" width. I had been looking for a metric/imperial tape measure for doing woodworking projects since some plans are metric. I purchased others which were only 1/2" wide which makes the numbers hard to read. Just moving up that 1/8" makes a big difference. Once you go up to 3/4" wide, the tapes are too long for most projects.

Likes:+ Compact and useful. Just what I needed as a pickleball player. Sometimes I need to measure hand-drawn court lines or whether the net is regulation height.+ Sleek, aesthetic black-and-yellow design.+ Comfortable to hold and use.+ The auto-retract button is efficient and useful.+ I like that this tape measure is small enough to fit nicely in my pickleball bag, with plenty of room left to spare for all my other pb gear.+ I also like that the tape hardens when situated at the right angle as needed, and loosens when held at a different angle. Nice compact tape measure

Perfect for "bi-lingual" measuring
After many years, I finally lost/misplaced my metric/US tape. Many of us in construction use European products and it is useful to have a small pocket tape when working on kitchens, in particular. After visiting both the Big Box stores only to find neither one carried a tape with metric measurements on it, I went on Amazon and finally found this Johnson tape. Wow. Impressed with the quality and how well the lock works.
