Definitely makes a difference.
I've been waiting for a while to make my review on the compression sleeves I got so I could be confident I knew whether or not they made a difference. But first, a story. When the sleeves first arrived, I noticed that one of them had a loose thread. I didn't think anything of it and left the thing alone. Spent that whole day in my house, wearing the sleeves and doing chores. I have plantar fasciitis and severe bone spurs in my left foot, combined with a broken sesamoid bone that never had a chance to heal. It is ALWAYS in pain. My right foot has recently started to swell and become painful because I spend so much time trying to not put pressure on my left foot, which meant that my overcompensation was really doing a lot of harm. That first day I wasn't really sure if there was any result because if mostly been around the house, but I could at least say the sleeves themselves weren't uncomfortable. I have very thick ankles and was worried they'd cut off circulation, worsening the swelling but no.... They fit just fine. Snug so as not to move, but not so tight that I had a problem wearing them. The second day I noticed that loose thread was maybe about an inch longer. I actually went out of the house for an hour or two to run some errands and came home to cook for about another hour. It was by the end of the cooking that I realized I hadn't needed to sit down and take a break from standing. There was still a pain, but not nearly as bad as normal. This is NOT a miracle cure, especially not for someone with feet as messed up as me, but it is definitely an excellent way of making sure I still support my arches while simultaneously not being forced to wear actual shoes.Third day comes around and that loose thread has gotten completely out of control. It must have snagged inside my shoe or something on day two because it was about eight inches long. Rather than just put up with it and eventually get frustrated once the whole sleeve was just a pile of threads again, I sent an email to the company that made these.Man. What nice people! The emails they sent were so polite and very understanding. I told them I was worried about one of my sleeves coming apart and I am so grateful that they were able to give me a replacement! Definitely a great company with excellent customer service. As some of you may know, yesterday was the first day in the US that Pokemon go was active and mostly functional. As a result, I spent about an hour walking around my neighborhood in flats, chasing digital monsters. I did not wear the sleeves or my shoes with orthotic inserts in them....and I paid for it.Today I did the same thing....but WITH the sleeves on. Man. What a difference! My left foot still has the same dull ache that I've grown accustomed to and my ankle is expectedly swollen....but I'm actually considering going out again right now just because I can! So this settles it.....while they may not make all the pain go away depending on your baseline, they sure as heck will help, especially while you're standing.I highly recommend using these and working with Physix Gear.

Excellent quality, outshining its competitors!
I have been struggling with my plantar fasciitis for a little over a year now and in the course of time have tried many avenues for relief. I really want to avoid any surgery for it! Because I like to walk barefoot when inside our home, I really appreciate the support of a quality plantar fasciitis compression sock, the one plantar fasciitis aid I don't need to leave in my shoe. About 6 months ago I purchased two other pairs of plantar fasciitis compression socks from two other manufacturers. They were both helpful, having their pros and cons, and I regularly wore them. After wearing a hole through the heal of one of them, I decided it was time to order a fresh replacement. By chance, I stumbled across Physix plantar fasciitis compression socks and after reading a few reviews decided to give them a try. I am so thankful I did! From the first time I put them on, I could tell a noticeable difference in the amount of support I receive from the Physix sock in comparison to both of the other two brands I had previously been wearing. Even though they were of comparable price, and size the Physix sock outshines the other two brands I tried by far because it is at least twice as supportive and stays snug all day. I never have trouble with it rolling up as I slide a pair of snug fitting socks on top. The Physix socks wash and wear well. They feel comfortable all day long, not getting too constricting, nor loosing elasticity. Their sung fit is a comfort, bringing relief even when I am not walking on them. Thanks for making a great product Physix!

Proven on the Pacific Crest Trail
I recently completed the Pacific Crest Trail. About halfway through I met a doctor who said my foot pain was likely plantar fasciitis. I think he was right.I got some heal inserts followed up with these socks about 800 miles on trail. The first day I wore the socks backpacking I didn't feel any difference. The second day was a night and day difference. My feet felt better. Even to this day if I do a casual day of walking my feet hurt fairly quickly. When I wear these I can go much longer. The compression of these is amazing. I wore them overnight thinking it would be therapeutic or something. Not at any recommendations but my own logic. It was misguided. The compression from these is so strong it actually hurt my toes before the morning came. They are meant to be worn when feet are moving and flexing. I take it as a good thing, a testament to the strength of the product. One downside to these is the compression is so strong it can be difficult to put them on properly. They regularly got wet while I was on trail. I ripped a pair on accident as they don't easily slip on and the wetness made it stick to my skin more.Physix Gear's customer service was awesome and shined. They took care of me when I contacted them and provided a photo of the ripped sock and reported my issue.
