HP - DESIGNJET 500/800 42 CARRIAGE BELT - C7770-60014

This is wonderful and I must admit I was surprised because of the low price - but it works perfectly and shipping was very quick! It fits perfectly on my HP 820MFP but you need to use the new "pulley" that comes with the belt. The OEM belt has both horizontal and slanted inner ridges on the belt whereas this new one has only the horizontal which is why it is important to use the new wheel. Make sure to follow the instructions in the HP 800 service manual for installing your new carriage belt and you will be good to go - having saved yourself a lot of money by purchasing this great replacement carriage belt for your wide format printer!

It worked fine.

This belt has the correct part number but the belt is not the correct belt. This belt has "teeth" the entire length of the belt. The correct belt should look like the image above. There should be a transition from teeth to grooves where circled in red. Don't waste your money. Buy 1 from LPS which is what I need to now do. This after I have the plotter completely torn apart!!!

The belt is fine. It’s slightly different from the original so I was forced to use the wheel that came with it, however the wheel wobbles horribly. I am stuck now trying to figure out what to do.

Fast Shipping, came like the photo upside, fit perfect in my hp designjet 510-42 in, the only issue is the instructions, you have look in youtube for them to assambly the plotter and replace the belt.- all done from Panama :D

I am real happy with this since I had looked all over and even HP had a maintenance package for over 1200 dollars just for a belt so this was fantastic at a great price. We replaced the belt on the plotter printer, replaced 2 print heads and bought some baby oil for $2 printer now works like a charm

The carriage belt is perfect for my Designjet 500 42. Now my "printer is working good". the only issue is, the carriage belt doesn't have a install guide, fortunately i found a video in youtube and they explain perfect how to install it. Is very difficult to install it so you may consider to add a guide.

As I was replacing the Trailing Cable I decided to replace the Carriage Belt.The bad: you have to take the Plotter half-way apart to replace the Belt. But well worth it.
