Ramen for Beginners: Traditional and Modern Recipes Made Simple

I purchased this cookbook for ramen beginners to go with some earth friendly ramen bowls as a gift. There are many easy recipes and lots of helpful info about making ramen in the cookbook. It's a great starter just as the title would indicate.  Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer.  I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - nearly 6,000 reviews posted, viewed over 50,000 times, and over 24,000 likes. I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

Recipes are easy to read and understandable.

This was a nice gift. The quality is good and recipes seem easy to follow.

Good recipes but I wish there were pictures and color in the book. I’m like a child, I know.

The media could not be loaded. This cookbook has been a great addition to our household. Aesthetically pleasing easy to follow perfect for those cold winter nights it made a great gift.

I like the fact that I can serve my family different recipes and not have follow complicated recipes

Bought this as a gift for someone going to college in the fall. Perfect little book, the soft cover is perfectly nice.

Got it for her for Christmas and she loved it! Recipes are simple enough for a 14yr old to make without have time but a million different specialty items. “Great gift” per her.

I am just getting into making ramen. This recipe book is easy to follow, with most of the ingredients readily available from local grocery stores.

Easy to follow and layout and explanation amazing.However VERY DISAPPOINTED with old fashion - US weights and measures are not globally used. They should print with globally recognised METRIC measurements at the point of the recipe. It is hard work having to convert every line item into Metric with a child.This lets down the otherwise excellent book and the publisher should address this!

Finaly a nice book with pictures and great detailed recipes. I’m so so happy. Exactly what I wanted :)

The media could not be loaded. I guess it's ok ,I prefer my cook books to have pictures as well,this one doesn't, but the recipes look like they are easy to read and nice structured easy to follow, I already tried the tonkotsu ramen with the spicy miso tare and was delicious
