So fun
This is such a fun book for St. Patrick’s Day. We love using this book in our themed bookshelf that I decorate for every holiday for my children. We also like to go on a little leprechaun hunt after reading this book which makes for a fun and interactive day.

Fun book
Super fun book, we read this and then made a leprechaun trap and set it up to catch a leprechaun! My four year old had so much fun!

Very fun book for my girls!
This book was so fun for my girls in March! We started a new tradition where we try and catch a leprechaun now! We have several other books by this author and they have all been so fun!

Great for a few minutes of quality time full of laughter with your little one
Love this book! The story is cute, as an adult I couldn’t wait to see the next child’s trap. The illustration of the book is amazing, truly enjoyed the facial expressions on the children’s faces!Would be a great addition to a book collection, especially is a younger elementary class room. Good way to share a laugh with a child in your life!

An amusing read full of mischief and mayhem.
Having read a number of these 'How to Catch' books, I wasn't sure I was going to like this one any more than I liked the others. The idea is certainly a fun one but the rhymes don't always work well for me. But I quite enjoyed this tale of a mischievous leprechaun pulling pranks on everyone he meets. Turning toilets green, throwing sneakers in the dishwater, the leprechaun sneers at all the attempts to catch him, wreaking havoc along the way. Ultimately, the leprechaun challenges the reader to be the one to catch him before putting his feet up and relaxing. As an adult, I had to flinch a little at the mess the leprechaun left behind at every place he went, but everyone he ran into was trying to catch him and get his gold, so I can't really fault him for retaliating. Young readers are bound to get a kick out of the fun rhymes and the impressively detailed illustrations as the leprechaun leaps from page to page. All in all, a fun read for St. Patrick's Day.

Love these books
The "How to Catch a..." books are some of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. I bought this book to read to my daughter's kindergarten classroom on St. Patrick's Day, and the kids loved it. I could barely get through a page without them cracking up, asking questions, or talking about the traps that they wanted to make. This book was a hit and my daughter was all smiles.
