This is a well made product. It is a must for apartment dwellers or travelers. Quick and easy to use. Best security where someone may have a key or picks the lock-the bar still keeps them out. Cheap but very effective. Quick delivery from the company.

My granddaughter just recently moved into her first apartment by herself with her two small children. A few days after she moved in and I called to see how things were going, she said very well except I’m not sleeping at all at night I’m worried about someone breaking the locks on the doors and coming in the house and I can’t get to my kids quick enough I am mediately got on Amazon, and found these two security men I bought them that night right after I hung up from talking to her, they were delivered to my house by 6:00 am the next morning, I put them together within seconds, so easy, and then my husband and I tested him on our doors, IWas amazed at how well they were made and the price paid. I called her and she stopped on her way home from work and picked them up the next morning she called me and she said Grandma I slept all night long, those two security men are wonderful. During the day she uses one of them on the pantry door to keep her two-year-old out of there, that also works great definitely a bonus. They are made with good materials and very sturdy. You actually could use them to protect yourself if needed I wouldn’t want to be hit across the back of the head with one of them

They product works extremely well. It is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Pretty easy to put together, though the top handle piece did seem a bit flimsy but is staying hooked in. It works relatively well. It seems to be doing what it is supposed to as I unlocked the doors and it stayed pretty secure when trying to open it. Overall happy with this purchase, especially for the price. I’d give it more 4.5 stars.

Construction and installation were easy enough. Just snap the three bars in place, snuggle it up against your door (or in the wedge if you're using it in a sliding door), and forget it......Or not, because the sturdiness leaves something to be desired.While this isn't the absolute worst security bar I've ever seen, it's far from the best. The metal is only somewhat thicker than a metal broom handle and the integrity is kind of shaky in the areas where the individual segments link up. The rubber foot, the part that touches the floor, doesn't always stay flush, defeating the purpose of having a bar in the first place. You really have to jam it up under the doorknob to stabilize it and since the poles are so thin I fear it'll bend them over time.You'll probably keep out opportunists wanting a path of least resistance, but anyone determined enough to get in will get in with just a bit more effort.All in all: It's fine if you're using it for sliding doors, but not the best for doors with knobs.

Compré estas barras para mis canceles hacia el balcón. El producto se adapta muy bien a la medida de las ventanas e incluso pude ajustarlo para que quedara levemente abierta y mi gato pudiera entrar y salir, sin permitir un acceso más amplio. Tienen gomas en los extremos para no dañar los marcos de las ventanas y el material es de buena calidad. Espero jamás tener comprobar su resistencia, pero hasta ahora todo bien. Llevo más de 3 meses con ellas.
