HDMI to BNC Converter Video Adapter - Convert HDMI to Coaxial Analog CVBS Signal for TV, Monitor, VCR, DVR

Product does exactly as advertised. It converts a digital HDMI signal into an analog signal from a BNC port. I bought one to use a small TV from 1985 as a second monitor, and it works perfectly. Most of the negative reviews are from people who either don’t understand what a BNC port is, or are probably trying to go from BNC to HDMI and bought the HDMI to BNC on accident.It feels a little cheaply made, but I bought a similar digital to analog video converter from best buy for 40 bucks, and even that had similar build quality and feel. I think most converters have a lot of empty space in their casing for whatever reason that makes them feel too light. If it breaks anytime soon, I’ll update my review.

Arrived in less than 24 hours in great shape and was easy to hook up, even though it was not what i needed

I was not going to get this initially because it said BNC instead of coax, but then in the product images it specifically says it works for old televisions, but this is a LIE! I would never have bought it if the images didn't specify that it worked for what I needed. The device itself is VERY cheaply made, and the connector feels like it's going to break easily. I suspect this was old stock they couldn't get rid of without making false claims about what it does

The standard axial cable connector doesn't fit

I have an old Trinitron monitor that I used to use for production and I wanted to use it again. So I bought this converter so i can watch my streaming HDMI content on the older monitor. It looks fantastic and its a cool way to reuse the older equipment. Makes a fun showpiece in my office.
