Neuro Drink, Variety Pack, 14.5 oz Bottles (Pack of 12)

I love the Neuro line. I've been drinking them for a few years now, back when it was the older formula. The new formulas are a definite improvement. I have begun buying these products online because my local stores have begun to sell out of some of my favorites. I drink the Sonic (Wild Berry and Super Fruit Fusion), Sleep (Mellow Mango is my preferred flavor), Daily (tastes like a healthier version of a Sprite), and Bliss regularly. Here's the deal on each:Neuro Sonic: Good Lord, I love these things. They have completely replaced my morning cup of coffee. As advertised, the energy is sustained and there isn't a crash involved at all. I'm a doctoral student, and I drink one of these when I need to sit down and focus on writing or grading for hours at a time. There are no jitters involved, and I don't get some crazy "speedy" feeling. Just a steady stream of focus. As a vegetarian, I appreciate the vegan formula.Neuro Sleep: I have a really hard time shutting my brain up when I'm trying to fall asleep. Not with these drinks. I drink half of one and am drifting off within 10-15 minutes. Only drink one when you're ready to fall asleep! I would start with a portion of the drink and see how it affects you. I prefer the mellow mango taste over the tangerine dream, but really, I'll drink either one. I'm not drinking this one for the taste; I'm drinking it for the effect.Neuro Bliss: This one is more subtle than the Sonic or the Sleep, but it definitely does have a calming effect. I deal with a lot of stress and pressure; I occasionally drink a Bliss to help melt that anxiety away. I don't drink this one as often as the Sleep or Sonic, but it does have a subtle calming, uplifting effect. It tastes good, too.Neuro Daily: I really like this one because it tastes so similar to a Sprite, but a lot healthier. I haven't noticed any kind of effect like the other drinks; it just tastes good and has a lot of vitamins (including Vitamin D!).

Not only do these drinks taste good, they actually work! After drinking the Neuro Sleep, I became tired, fell asleep earlier, and woke up refreshed. Seeing as I have to wake up at 5:30 every morning, the Neuro Sonic made me more alert and I was able to get my work done more easily. The Neuro Bliss is probably my favorite because I go from school to work to softball practice back to work and finally go home where I have to do my homework. The Bliss makes me much less stressed. I would recommend this product to anyone I know!

I ordered this variety pack despite being someone who usually avoids bottled water and who never buys sodas or fruit drinks--I use my own juicers and drink tap water. But I am enjoying these Neuro drinks. My favorite is Trim which definitely makes it easier to feel full between or with meals, and which has a subtle refreshing taste. The Sleep blend does make it a little easier to fall asleep. Bliss is good, Sonic is good even if it has a slight hint of vitamin after taste--perhaps not surprising given the substantial content of these drinks. Sonic's light carbonation is just right to make it feel like a pick-me-up. I am ordering more.

The variety pack is advertized as 12 bottles of three varieties. With no other information, I believed I would get three bottles of each variety. Instead I received three bottles of Bliss and Sleep and six bottles of Sonic. Trim was left out entirely.Now Amazon has their standard disclaimer that what is shipped may differ from the pictures and descriptions. While this makes it legal, it doesn't make it right. If you're out of something - send a message and ask what the customer wants substituted.Overall the product has good taste, though Focus is a bit of an acquired taste, is lightly carbonated, and works pretty much as is described. There are other brands that have stronger effects, but if you prefer a more gentle approach, this is your product.One other note: while most consumer plastic recyclable, the caps usually are not. Even my powdered baby formula has a recylable tub (#1) and a non- recyclable cap (#5). These bottles use quite a bit of plastic by an ecology activists stanard - but they are 100% recyclable from tip to tail.

I absolutely love these drinks. The Sonic gives a great boost of energy and is a good alternative source of caffeine for those who don't like coffee. The Bliss drink is amazing for my anxiety-- whenever I need to relax or wind down after a stressful day I love drinking one of these (also, a great alternative if you need to cut down on wine/alcohol to help relax). The Sleep drink is also amazing (obviously, do not recommend mixing with alcohol)-- it kicks in right away and puts you fast asleep. The only reason I am not giving five stars is due to the price. I also wish Neuro allowed you to create your own variety pack (that doesn't affect my rating, just a side note).

I'll admit it, I initially bought these because of the packaging. The design indicated to me that the makers believe they have a product that is truly different, and I think they're correct. I've tried all of them and ordered more. They all do what they say they do. Here's how I use them. Have a Sonic with lunch, it puts the kibosh on the afternoon crash, which I experience as not being able to focus on work. It's not buzzy -- it's a lot like 5 Hour Energy only tastes like Knee-Hi Strawberry soda. Bliss is awesome. I don't even know how to describe it. I've kept these at work, and when things get crazy and I want some "me time" I have one on ice. It's wonderful. You just have to try it. Trim is nice to have at dinner if you're a night-time snacker. Sleep is the one I've got the least use for, but have tried it after staying up too late on task. You know how sometimes you get wound up and find it difficult to sleep when you've been working, reading or just puttering around the house? It totally takes the edge off that. I'm far from being an insomniac, so ymmv.I do have to get something cleared up -- on my second purchase they sent no Trim and twice as much Sonic. Not cool, Neuro. Hopefully we'll get this taken care of.
