I just don't get it, I am an engineer by trade so need strong tools, these tools look great, have an excellent tool roll, (so far so good) but these tools are just not fit for purpose, maybe for a DIYer who likes good looking tools but for a trady these are no good, the insert bends off the spanner, there is a sloppy fit on the blot heads on both ends more so on the C end (rounds off bolts, even M16!!), I am more so disappointed as I really wanted these and expected these to be the dogs doodas and just a bit sad!! I have quite a lot of wera tools so love the brand and it just didn't cut it.... Wera you can do better than this.

Trotz des immensen Preis Unterschieds bevorzuge Ich das Set von Wera.Um eines Vorweg zu nehmen, für mich stand die Entscheidung an: "entweder nochmal billig zu kaufen + irgendwann nochmal irgendwas zu kaufen" oder "1x mal richtig und hoffentlich ein Leben lang begeistert zum Maulschlüssel greifen zu können." Ich habe in den letzten Wochen andauernd arbeiten gehabt, bei denen ich genau diese Ratschen Funktion gebraucht hätte und jedes mal hab ich mich geärgert den Schlüssel "100x" neu ansetzten zu müssen. Da für eine normal Ratsche zu wenig Platz vorhanden war kahm diese leider nicht Infrage.*Die Ratschenfunktion hat kleine Rasten bei Bosch dreht es sich ohne irgendein geräusch oder impulse sehr komisch*Die Schlüssel sind etwas länger als die Bosch Variante = bessere Hebel*Das Wera Set fühlt sich viel wertiger an.(subjektiv mag jeder anderes emfinden)*Die praktischer Haltefunktion durch Metallplatte im Maul ist genial gerade an Stellen wo man eben nicht mit den Händen hin kommt*Der Endanschlag löst den eigenen Finger ab somit kann auf langen Gewindestangen bzw. Schrauben einfach angesetzt werden und ganz einfach bis unten geschraubt werden. (wer es einmal hatt will es nicht mehr missen)Ich glaub jeder Handwerker/-in kennt das Gefühl, wenn eine Arbeit ansteht und Mann/Frau mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht zu seinem Werkzeug greift und die Aufgabe einfach von der Hand geht.Genau das passiert mit diesem Set!

I've had them a long time now. These are probably best for a mechanic getting into tight spots. As the spanner is straight with no kink at the end it can be a bit of knuckle scraper at times. As we are always told to tighten up with the ratchet part and finish with the spanner that is what I do. The problem is that the spanner end slips of the nut when there is still some more tightening to be done and rounds the bolt head while it slips off. All in all I wish I had saved a lot of money and bought an ordinary ratchet spanner set. I let the pretty curves turn my head.

Wera are supposed to be a quality brand. These have sat in a work bag in living room, now in loft. Just checked them today looking for something, I've only had them a few months and shocked to see the tips on the open ends are starting to rust, thats why they get 1 star. This should be happening. The socket and screen driver I have of theirs is older, sat in same bag and hasn't rusted.

Absolutely love these, let's just list them off:-The holder is very good quality & helps keep them well organised,-The spanners have a very good weight behind them & are very comfortable to hold,- The small return angle needed on a nut/bolt is insane compared to a regular spanner,- The ratchet mechanism is smooth,- The set is very comprehensive with all the sizes you could need for a normal set,-Amazon are selling these cheaper then I could find anywhere else online or in local shops,If you don't know why these are soo good check Wera or YouTube,Such an amazing set & would highly recommend if you use tools daily.
