Bialetti Preziosa French Press Coffee Maker, 600 ml, Steel

I bought this hoping I would achieve a richer cup of coffee than my Mr. Coffee drip style machine. I'm happy that it does just that! I can even use less coffee than I had to use in the Mr. Coffee machine. Course ground coffee is a better choice so that the grinds don't go through the press when pouring, although it hasn't been a big problem. The 8-cup press makes 3 big cups/mugs of coffee.

This French press is the perfect size for a normal coffee mug. Never have to measure water. The product comes with a handy "how-to" guide for what coffee and grind to use and how to adjust to your liking. I've been using this for about 3 months and I am already starting to see some of the mesh/spring towards the bottom of the plug become loose. This product will still save you tons of money versus Dunkin or Starbucks, but I wouldn't buy for daily use.

I bought this to replace a similar version under a different brand. You know what...they are all very similar and really I would shop for the best price. I liked this one due to its greater amount of protective stainless material around the glass. I broke the previous one dropping it in the sink. when comparing different glass models of this capacity I found they all use the same filter mechanism, plastic strainer on the lid and so on. My wife also found that bed bath and beyond carry replacement glass carafes for a few brands. Being that the filter/plunger/top is pretty much the same across the board you can conceivably purchase a replacement carafe of different branding that will work with these top filter deals. So when I break this one I will go that route. So, in general terms, this style of press works great. I gave it 5 stars because it was the least expensive version of this type and it works like it should. IF your coffee is muddy be sure to move up to a coarser grind. The drip grinds are a bit too fine.

The Cafeteria is still by far the best way to make coffee. The Bialetti is the best cafeteria.Ergo: I am a happy coffee drinker. Leftovers make GREAT iced coffee or Coffee Martinis.

This is really pretty kitchen product. I use it only for travelling to places where exprèsso is not readily available. But it is easy to use and clean and priced competitively

They advertised this coffee pot as a three cup pot. True capacity is 11.83 ounces. I was taught 8 ounces in a cup. Totally disappointed when I found out it was 350 ml. I like my coffee in a larger cup than a shot glass

Literally 2 months use, purchased May 24th 2021, glass already broken! Hopefully manufacturer will do right by this item & replace glass. I can see a year of usage but 2 months? Hopefully someone will get in touch to rectify this situation. Thank you

Got this for an anniversary gift for my husband. He had it 2 months and then the glass broke :/... That's why the 3 stars.

A entrega do produto foi realizada em aproximadamente 5 dias após o pagamento e o pacote estava em perfeitas condições. O problema é que a cafeteira, apesar de parecer robusta, veio com algumas imperfeições na estrutura metálica próxima à base (vide fotos). Pode parecer pouca coisa mas esses 4 "pequenos" defeitos de fabricação são inadmissíveis para uma cafeteira desta marca e valor. O controle de qualidade da empresa italiana na China, onde é na verdade fabricada, certamente precisa melhorar. O próximo passo será solicitar o reembolso.

O vidro quebrou no sehundo dia de uso. O vidro simpleste quebrou depois de colocar agua quente, nao havia batito , riscado nem nada. Um absurdo. Comprei uma outra prensa mais barata e troquei o vidro.

Cette cafetière permet de préparer un café digne de ce nom et remplace allègrement une cafetière filtre. A la réception on s’aperçoit que le produit est soigné, le design aussi et que le rapport qualité/prix est sans conteste meilleur que chez Bodum.Le café préparé est assez fort en caféine, donc à réserver de préférence au matin. En effet, la caféine se diffuse d'autant plus que l'eau passe lentement dans le café, donc on a ici un équivalent au café filtre. Il faut rappeler que l'un des cafés le moins fort en caféine est l'expresso (bien que le goût nous fasse penser le contraire).A savoir néanmoins que le verre n'est pas tout à fait ajusté à l'entourage en inox, donc il faudra faire attention en lavant la cafetière.Par ailleurs, le "filtre" en métal se démonte facilement en dévissant l'ensemble. Beaucoup se sont posé la question, donc oui, vous pouvez nettoyer ce filtre séparément. Attention néanmoins au lave vaisselle pour cet élément car il pourrait endommager la grille et le joint. Idem pour le bouchon du haut qui possède un filtre également !Enfin, pour ceux qui l'ignorent, vous pouvez déverser le marc de café dans votre évier, il aura pour avantage de nettoyer les graisses des canalisations.Pour résumer, nous avons là une belle cafetière avec un excellent rapport qualité/prix et entièrement démontable.Si ce commentaire vous a été utile, n'hésitez pas à le spécifier, sinon je suis disposé à répondre à vos interrogations.

...e lo fa bene. Da buon napoletano ero piuttosto scettico della tecnica "french press" ma mi sono dovuto ricredere. È eccellente. È anche vero che ho usato un caffè di qualità superiore (Passalacqua) ma mi aspettavo che non l'avrebbe reso al meglio. Aspettative ampiamente tradite, 4' di attesa per avere un ottimo caffè. ATTENZIONE non ha nulla a che vedere con la moka, è un caffè "bevanda da meditazione"

Great item. Looks really nice as the handle matches my Mokka pot from the same brand. Coffee tastes good with no grains making their way into the mug. Will update this if there’s any breakages etc.Update March 2019; still going strong. Looks as good as new.Dec 2019; still good.
