Bar soap is very rough, got to lather on your hands before applying to body. But there isn't much exfoliating feeling given it does not contain any visible particles.

Bought this soap (lavender goats milk with oats) after my favorite kiosk at my mall closed. Lovely middle eastern man who sold his wife's handmade soaps- I always bought their lavender oatmeal goats milk bar. I like supporting small businesses in my beauty and skin care. This stuff is just as good! Lathers nicely, moisturizing (important in this frigid Indiana winter) and smells wonderful! I've seen some reviews saying this stuff doesn't last. Alot of people don't realize that natural soaps that are made without harsher ingredients commercial soaps are made with, aren't as solid because of that reason, so if you treat it like a bar of Irish Spring and leave it in the soap dish in the shower,where it's constantly exposed to water and steam it's going to "melt". So using a loofah instead of washing with the bar constantly under the spraying water in the shower will extend its life, keeping it in a dry(er) area of the shower will help, or just keeping the full bar out of the shower altogether and just cutting it in sections as using as needed will help too. You just have to know how natural soaps work and a little goes a long way:) Thank you very much I definitely will be buying again.

I was always a fan of Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap and wanted to see what else was available with pine tar, made with organic ingredients and made here, in the good ole' US of A. This stuff has a wonderful scent, I mean intoxicatingly good. It lathers so luxuriously and always leaves me feeling feeling squeaky clean and moisturized yet does not feel like there is a slippery residue that you feel like you're still soaped up.- unlike many commercially available soaps. I mean, this stuff leaves my skin feeling great and moisturized and it rinses off quickly. There is only one downside. It's a big one. A bar of soap that you pay $9.95 American, should last longer than seven to nine days. I'm just saying. That's one expensive bar of soap and to last a freaking week???? It was so good, I bought one 7 days after my first; but was disappointed by how quickly the soap was depleted. I tried to use the second bar more sparingly and so far it's nine days, maybe I'll make it to day 11. I shower once in the morning and once in the evening. I rub the bar all over and work up a good lather. I have never had a bar of soap, even smaller ones disappear so quickly. This is a great soap, but I can't afford a $40 a month soap habit. I will wait to treat myself to this soap again in the future. Perhaps for Christmas.

This company is my absolute favorite for soaps. A lot of soaps will irritate my skin and cause me to break out on my back/shoulders. I've never had an issue with acne, but cheap soap full of chemicals does it for me every time. Some of the all natural soaps leave a film on my skin or leave me feeling not clean. These soaps never leave a residue and I always feel/smell amazing. Would highly recommend giving this company a try.

Christmas gift AGAIN for my daughter. It's become a tradition these last three years. She LOVES Yellow Bird products. Great for sensitive skin. Wonderful fragrance. Long life. All around quality product. Yes, we will purchase again for her next year.
