I really enjoy this puzzle...it's as much fun as it is colorful!!
I really enjoy this puzzle a lot!! I love that it is so colorful & as a previous reviewer said, it is still fun to do & makes you think even after solving it...that is so true!! And as the other reviewer said, I also found where a few of the buttons were hard to slide at first, but after I applied enough pressure while pushing them towards where I wanted them to slide, they did move & that seemed to loosen them up enough that I didn't have any further problems with them. All in all this is a fantastic toy that you can take with you anywhere, it's quiet & needs no batteries (you only need "brain power")....and most of all it's really fun!!!

Very hard to move the colors around.
This item is very poorly made. The colors are extremely hard to slide, and they get stuck. It’s more frustrating and stressful rather than being a relaxing puzzle. I liked all the colors, but the quality is not good.

Mix it up
This is a fun puzzle to pass time quickly. Even once you figure out the key how to solve it , it still keeps your brain thinking.

Would not reccomend
My 8 year old grand daughter found it difficult (stiff) to use. My oldest son found the same problem when he tried it.

strip it down and finished it properly.
3+ No! I have large hands, they are now very sore. 12+Mixing the sliding beads should slide freely. A Rubics barrel this is not.75% of the edges are swollen with excess material, the outer rings actually slope in different directions leaving a lip.Anyone with hand problems is going to suffer. I don't know how this past any sort of usage tests.A proper finishing sanding and review of ever bead looking for lumps flashing help greatly but took over an hour. However the main problem is in the barrel ring design itself. The rachet does not lock in a straight line and the sharp corners impedes bead transfer. Needs a good rethink.

I thought it would be good to keep his mind active
I bought a couple of these as presents for my family members and gave one to my dad who is elderly. I thought it would be good to keep his mind active. when we tried moving the coloured buttons they were very stiff and hardly moved at all, which made my dad frustrated and lose interest. i checked the rest of the baffle puzzles and found that they were all the same. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Good puzzle. Shame about the quality / stiffness of the buttons. Worth a go though.
This is the only of these puzzles on the market. It is fun to play with, but you will have to do a lot of preparation work to loosen up the buttons to make them slide. The first one of these I bought had a batch of buttons that did not slide - but the sellers sent me a replacement, free of charge, and rather quickly, which had worked - though it is still stiff.I have given it 3 stars because it is a good game to fiddle with. I deducted 2 stars as, unfortuantely, it is not free-moving enough for a quick-solver to use. I will still enjoy using this game though, and hope that with time it will loosen up and become easier to use.

Best puzzle out there.
A great puzzle, first remove the marked disc,it has a kind of star patten on it,just pop it off and away you go,for best challenge hand the puzzle to someone else and ask them to scramble it up,when they hand it back get ready for hours of twisting and sliding as you try to get all the colours back as they should be,at first the slide action might be a bit stiff but it will ease up with use,as long as you line up two rows the slide function should be straight forward,if the person who mixed it up did a good job you should be at this for quite a while.when you have completed it try it again but try to beat your previous time,so each time you get it done quicker.or challenge a friend to beat your time.it all adds to the challenge and keeps your mind sharp.

A shame as its too frustrating...
Yes, to echo another reviewer: it looks bright and attractive, and should be a really challenging puzzle but the mechanism just does not work. It is too frustrating manipulating the dots. The whole family had a go to see if there was some technique we had missed, but no - it just doesn't work well. Shame as it was a stocking filler.

Could be so good but some of the beads are impossible to slide ...
Could be so good but some of the beads are impossible to slide across the way it's made even brute force will not budge them. If you pay £1 or £100 you still expect what you buy to work as it should and this definitely does not.if only the product was as good as the idea. Very disappointed . The one star has to be given just to rate product but really not worth the one star

Dreadful
I bought this to add to my Father's Day presents. Dad is elderly and to keep his mind active I've been giving him these types of puzzles. I opened the puzzle today to mess it up for him before I give it him. I can't move most of the colours. The internal mechanism is so tight and clunky that it's impossible to move the pegs up and down. Utter rubbish. I'll have to buy him something else because there is no way he will be able to manage moving it. Very disappointed.

Poor quality
Quite overpriced for that poor workmanship. Chips are hard to move, segments hard to rotate - it gave me a headache. But son is happy to have managed to arrange everything properly few times and values his new puzzle a lot. I did not expect him to find the size non-challenging - product is 50% bigger than regular Rubix cube.

Mechanics let it down
This is such a great idea and great fun to solve but the rotating rings don't click into place securely so they are constantly slipping while you try to move the tiles. This leads to the next problem which is that the tiles don't move smoothly across the rings and in some places are almost impossible to shift. Really disappointing because it makes something fun and relaxing into a frustrating experience. I'd have paid more for the same thing if it moved smoothly.

Good fun but not particularly challenging
A good alternative to a Rubik's Cube but doesn't really hold a torch in terms of complexity or build quality. There is quite a lot of 'drift' in the pieces and that can lead to a lot of fidgeting the toy to enable parts of it to turn properly even when they appear to be in place. The difficulty of the puzzle is not much greater than your average sliding puzzle and Rubik's afficionados will solve this within a matter of a few hours.

Terrible. DO NOT BUY.
This product is shockingly bad. To push the pieces up and down you have to align the pieces perfectly and even then you need a good bit of force to get it to work. This is so poorly made that I will try and get a refund and if that fails it's just going in the bin.

hard to move pieces
This puzzle was a gift and well received. It looks well made and challenging, but the pieces are hard to move. I am sure it will loosen up eventually but at the moment can't be completed because my child can't line it up properly to move any more pieces. More suited to a teenager or adult I think.

A good idea but doesn't quite hit the spot.
Bought this for my daughter and it held interest initially but soon forgotten. Moving the bits around can be quite fissly with the horizontal move often getting stuck. Get a rubix cube and be done with it.

You get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for. Many of the moving colored dots/tiles doesn't move easy enough, they get stuck. And the rotating rings doesn't really stop where they are supposed to, to form rows. They are often off by a millimeter so the tiles can't slide between the rings. I had to open it up and grind the tiles to run more easly. Thankfully you just remove one of the black lids in the ends and unscrew a small screw, and all tiles can be removed. I would gladly paid twice as much for a better constructed product. It's a great puzzle, not too hard to solve. This one is just too poorly manufactured.
