Just had to use my original jump pack to start a 2018 Ford Explorer 2.3 L 4-cylinder. Soon as I hooked up the contacts the unit went from blue to green. Short time after that I turned the ignition and the vehicle started right up. This was the first time using the unit, however it did its job flawlessly. Mind you, this is after letting the unit sit in my Jeep Wrangler's trunk compartment for about a year. Still had a full charge and it worked great. I was so impressed that I bought one for the Explorer to have onboard just should something happen to it. I like how compact the unit is and the fact that it comes in a semi-hard shell case.

I bought one of these in Nov. 2023 . That's 14 months ago and store it in my trunk. That's in weather below zero and over 100 degrees . When I first got it I charged it full (4 bars). I have used it to jump my lawn tractor once and my Honda CRV 3 times and I still have 4 bars. I just hook it up to the battery , get in the car and as soon as I turn the key the CRV starts . It's amazing how fast it works. Did I get lucky when I received this particular unit or are they all well made in this brand? I'm about to buy another one and will find out but I now have trust in this brand and model. I just received a second jump starter of another brand and wonder why I bought that when I've had great performance from the one I have so I haven't even opened the box on the one I just got and will return it and buy a second AVAPOW 2000 AMP charger . Why take a chance when I know I have a good one ? Obviously I like what I have and highly recommend it . No it doesn't have a digital display , just four bars but like everything else , the more hi tech you go, the more to go wrong. I still have the starter , flashlight a recepticles to charge my cell phone or other gadgets but I know I'll never use them . All I need is the jump starter and the light in case I need to jump my vehicles after dark. Keep it simple !

I LOVE my AVAPOW Jump Starter! Don't drive one of my cars that much and when I decided to drive it, the battery is usually dead. I had to call the Auto Club not too long ago and the gentleman used a jumper similar to this one and started the car. He said it would be useful to me. I ordered this one a few days later and was glad I did because in a couple of days, my car battery was dead again (yup, didn't drive it after Auto Club started it). I charged it, followed the easy directions and started the car and was on my way. I'm not having any problems with my car since I'm driving it now, but I don't go anywhere without my AVAPOW.

As described if not better its a little bigger then in the picture but will get the job done for the price not bad

worth every penny, I purchased it new, charged it up and left it in my car for several months. I van would not start and I thought (no way) its going to jump my can after sitting for months. WELL YES IT DID, VAN STARTED RIGHT UP ON THE FIRST TRY WITHOUT ANY HESITATION.

Phenomenal product! Wife and I got caught out in a storm after camping with a dead battery. Connected the Avapow to the battery and the car started within seconds. Easy to use. Also has other functions such as a flash light or portable power bank but I will strictly use it for the jumpstarting function when necessary. Awesome product, thank you!

Perfect size for the car
