Scented Oil With Vanilla

Recently I began taking a Tahitian drumming and dancing class with my teenage daughter. I was introduced to this oil through our classmates. This oil is a godsend!! I use it after my showers or before I go outside in the sun. It has HEALED my skin!! It goes on smoothly and keeps my skin moisturized!! It definitely lasts all day!! And the smell.... PHENOMENAL!! It's the most beautiful jasmine paired with light coconut fragrance. I have the Vanilla, Tiare and this one, while they are all delish smelling, this one is MY FAV🌸🫶🏽The only thing I would point out (And I believe the source of any negative reviews) this oil is PURE so it solidifies somewhere around 68-72 degrees. That's TOTALLY NORMAL!! I just run it under hot water for a minute in the sink or if it's for after shower, I just leave it out next to the shower while I'm showering and by the time I get out it's completely liquefied again. I highly recommend this oil!! My skin.... Like touching a cloud!! (Oh and I have no science to back this up....but my stretch marks....on my stomach and the backs of my legs....healing....is it this?!? I haven't introduced ANY other changes to my routine....Maybe?! I'm HUGE into the healing power of plants, maybe the Tiare flower is good for stretch marks?! I have much research to do and will update my review once I have any info on this theory. Smells so good and feels super moisturizing. All the bad reviews of saying it went “bad” that there was black stuff is wrong they are vanilla beans in the oil!!!

As we age, some skin types looks dry when makeup is applied. Then makeup settles in wrinkles & makeup now looks age-defining (old) instead of youthful. But, I started experimenting with a silicone layer first, then a light application of the manoi tahitian coconut and vanilla bean oil before liquid makeup and I finally found thatdewey appearance that I have not been able to achieve even with expensive brands of makeup. After 70 years of makeup application, two constants are real: not every makeup will work the same on 2 people as advertising is fake. Second, a successful outcome rarely happens with just one makeup product. As skin ages & often dries out while becoming less soft with hormonal changes, wrinkles deepen so makeup becomes more of a "try this, try that-- a little of this and that" and the hope to look beautiful. Doesnt happen. Face still looks old or even worse. But this combination actually looked much better with some tweaking and squeaking! No promises that u will turn back time!But I have received many compliments! Hope it works for u! (note: coconut oil solidifies but quickly liquifies in seconds on ur fingertips and the vanilla pieces are not mold... just natural vanilla bean scenting)

These are pretty good the oil soaks in so you're not greasy and the scent is very very light

This silky smooth oil is the best body oil I’ve had. It smells so pure and light and of course like delicious vanilla. Not greasy at all and rubs into skin like nothing. It does solidify so be careful to make sure the cap is tight when it eventually melts.

It wasn't a liquid. It was solid. There was mold in the bottom. Threw it away. Wasted my money.

This is the best moisturizer I've ever used. The particles of monoi oil are smaller than other types of oil, so it soaks into your skin/hair. The smell is warm and light, with a vanilla marshmallow scent. I use this on my body immediately after a shower, as well as in my hair (I have dry, wavy red hair). It makes your hair soo soft and shiny, but don't overdo it.I also use this on my face at night after I apply my retinol cream, and fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes have plumped and decreased. My skin is naturally SUPER oily, and though it seems counter-intuitive to use oil on my face, it actually helps my skin to not be as oily. I have only used this at night, not under makeup, so I can't vouch for the results of how my skin would react as a day moisturizer.It's true that the oil solidifies in cooler temperatures, but instructions for dealing with this (a common issue with coconut based oils) are written on the back of the bottle. I can't believe one reviewer threw their bottle away due to this! Don't waste it, ding dong!!! This stuff is like the holy grail of multi-purpose moisturizers!The only issue I have is that the bottle design causes the oil to come out all at once, but at the same time, I absolutely love this retro-style label. It's like 60's style Hawaiian kitsch.An inexpensive, wonderful product, I would recommend this brand of manoi oil to absolutely anyone!

This oil smells divineeee. It’s a relatively mild scent when applied but still strong enough to smell, not overpowering at all. It’s definitely a sweet vanillay scent but not like a bakery scent, it’s a very natural vanilla scent with some fruit notes as well. If you wanna smell like vanilla but not like a bath and body works body mist is seeping out of your pores, buy this oil (no shade haha). I’m pretty picky when it comes to oils, perfumes, etc. but this is a 100/10 product. It also leaves my skin so moisturized and soft without being greasy/leaving residue. Will absolutely repurchase!
