I ordered this set after seeing a really gross video where someone grows mold, bacteria and fungus in a Petri dish from a swipe of a “clean” makeup brush. For obvious reasons I decided to swap mine out and start fresh.Instead of going to hunt down new brushes and spending a fortune, I decided to check Amazon and the quality seems great. I was not expecting these to be so similar to the better brushes in my collection, but they are dense, tightly packed, and super soft just like a $40+ brush if not better. In my initial inspection of the brushes I did not experience much shedding. A couple of them lost a fiber or two. I like that the brush tips are light in color so I can make sure they are clean. The holder is very convenient both for display and organizing and for travel purposes.Compared to a different cheaper set I also ordered, this provides a lot more value because all the brushes have purpose, and this also comes with the holder. This set comes with more of the larger brushes like a large tapered brush, stippling brush, and a medium powder brush, when compared to cheaper sets.The only brushes this set lacks are a very large powder brush, eyebrow wand and eyelash comb, which can always be purchased separately. I prefer disposable tools for brow and lash and rarely ever use a large powder brush, so it doesn’t bother me.Overall I would recommend this set to amateur or professional makeup users. The brushes that it comes with are suitable for 99% of everyday makeup needs and it was very affordable.

Okay first of all I'm saying this now buy them....and I was not paid or discounted in any way I paid the whole enchilada.Okay well first of all I'm so thankful I trusted my gut because these brushes are the bomb.1. The package it's self was treated with much care there was a little dent but it was nothing really I got to opened the box and there was a bag in there and even that was wrapped and I open the bag and every single brush is well rapped every single one which is awesome to me!! and not only that but it came in a pretty big bag which was the brush bag and its nice and strong.2. It came with a few little cards which one of them explained what this company is about which I really liked and made me even happier with my purchase to know I'm helping such a good company who is cruelty free.3. Finally the brushes...they smelled good as in no chemicals or anything else. They were clean which is great because they are going on my face and I careally what goes on it. I also tugged each and every single one of the brushes and nothing fell out of it. The you are pretty stong. Also a plus is that each brush has what they are for on them. Plus it comes with a card explain what each brush is for which is great for newbees.Also I received these way earlier than expected.so YAY!over all these brushes are amazing and I really recommend these to all you guys because this company seems like they care about their products and yes I love them very much.Also just a disclaimer yes the box tells you if you give a good review you do get a free gift but i don't think that all these 5 stars really care about a tiny bottle that I don't even know what it's for and could honestly care less if I even receive it. I want to give an honest review and would want the same when I read others...just get them

So I don't really have anything to compare to but it seems that for the $30 you get 18 brushes. Even if these aren't great, or fantastic, from what I saw in stores recently, to buy each brush individually would cost more in the long run, especially since a lot of the larger brushes look like they cost $5 and up each. That's not to mention spending the time finding each brush in this kit. Time is money. So, if they last me a year or two (I have no idea how long these are supposed to last), for $30, I think I got a good deal since it was just a few clicks away and delivered the next day through prime.On the bad side though, from spending five minutes looking over this kit, I found a few things that bother me. After taking each brush out of the easel and taking them out of the bag and replacing them in it's previous place on the easel, the last two brush, the smallest ones, slip out when the easel is placed upright. The stretchy stuff isn't small enough to retain the brush when not in the plastic bag. The second thing that bothers me slightly is that there is no way to keep the easel upright. In a review video I watched, there was a sting or elastic cord between the holes on the top and bottom to when you pulled the small cord lock, it would stay upright. Well, there's not cord in mine. I can make my own but that's not the point. It's marketed as an Easel but there's no way for that easel to work.The good point is I don't have that chemical smell a few others have complained about.All in all, I'm sure there are better quality brushes out there on the market, but for a first time purchaser of makeup brushes who doesn't even know how to apply makeup well yet, for $30, I think it's a steal.
