This spinning top set is all hand made with the care of a precision instrument allowing the top to be spun at incredible speeds with the help of it's launcher and centering plate. With practice each spin can last for 10 to 15 minutes! Fit the stem of the top through the high quality all steel ball bearing in the launcher, wrap the string around the stem of the top and give it a pull! The top drops from the handle and into the plate spinning at astonishing speed and dances around the rim until finding perfect center and seems to become still as it stands on its tip, continuing to spin for far longer than the typical gyroscope and most other tops. When not in use everything fits in its oak base in the style of a writing set. The bottom is covered in black felt. It measures 4 1/2 inches by 7 1/4 inches and there is a place for every piece of this set to keep it all together when not in use.
