I'm sure it works as well as my other wine opener, but without an AC outlet in my house, what is the point? At this price point, send an adapter along with it so it's usable. I'm sending this baby back.UPDATE: The mfr contacted me about my review and nicely asked me to remove it as they explained that the product was supposed to be charged in the power base (or PC). I had no idea what this power base was. In hindsight, I suspect that the product was probably shipped without the power base, so I was left with an incompatible plug and a USB plug. I wasn't about to plug it into my PC, so I sent it back. Had it come with the power base, I'm sure it would've worked fine.

My wife and I love this little bottle opener! Our friends live seeing it in action. Well worth the price. Get one today, if you’re a wine drinker.

This wine opener is cool. This is my first ever electric wine opener and it is very convenient to use. It removes corks in just seconds. It comes with a foil and I suggest using it too for convenience. This wine opener is rechargeable but you don't need to constantly charge it because the battery charge last long. The USB cable charger needed is also included in the package. I just didn't expect that it's a little bigger than what I anticipated (i thought of a portable one to bring also during travels) but it's totally fine with me because it's staying at home in my kitchen. I think this will also be a great gift to wine enthusiasts friends. I received this as a complimentary product in exchange of my fair feedback in a form of a review.

This rechargeable electric wine bottle opener is easy to use and it takes all the work out of opening a bottle of wine. Even folks with diminished hand strength or arthritis can open wine bottles without difficulty by using this device.It has a rechargeable battery that charges via an included USB cable, and it can open about 60 to 80 bottles before needing to be recharged. It came with a European adapter though, so you'll need an American one to be able to plug it into an outlet.Opening a bottle is easy. Just use the foil cutter that's included to remove the foil from the top of the bottle, then position the open end of the Enowpo opener directly over the cork and press the lower power button to start the opener. The metal corkscrew will turn and lower itself into the cork until it has a firm grasp and then reverse to lift the cork from the bottle.Once the cork is out, just press the upper power control button to unscrew and release the cork. That's it, your bottle is uncorked. Some wine comes with rubber corks, but this works best with natural corks. I'd like to see the foil cutter incorporated into the top of the device itself so I'd have less of a chance to lose it, but I definitely like it. It's easy to use, works well, and it would be easy to take along when picnicking, boating, or camping.Sample provided at no cost by manufacturer for evaluation purposes.

The opener itself is nice I don't like that it didn't come with a regular charger but rather a European one. My fault for not reading it does get plugged into the computer for charging so it still works

My parents really like to drink wine. My dad even has one of those nifty wine racks and he stores all of his expensive bottles on it in the walk in pantry. He goes as far to keep it very “cool” so as not damage the wine, ensuring we close the pantry door as soon as we are done in there. So when I saw this automatic opener, I instantly thought- GIFT! After receiving the opener quickly and in good condition, I charged it up. However, be weary, this unit in particular came with a european charger. Thankfully, the cord that connects to the opener to charge is just a simple USB so I had a quick fix there. But that was unexpected and earns one star deduction. It comes nicely packaged and even has a foil cutter to get the foil off the cork. The opener charged up relatively quickly, and, with my timer at the ready, my dad hit the timer and pulled a cork out! It did pretty well, and its little blue light illuminated the top of the bottle (I thought this was a neat feature). It took about 9 seconds to remove the cork and 13 seconds to remove the cork, then take it off of the opener corkscrew. The form factor is nice, with a see through area to see the cork being removed, and the light, as I mentioned, is also a nice touch to the opener. All in all it seems to be a decent product and removes corks easily. I received this product on a promotional discount for my honest review and they are 100% my own opinions.
