Sticks are great
Gooey stuff you are supposed to stick candy sticks in is totally sticky. Drips when you take candy stick out and it doesn't add to flavor. It would be better to just use candy sticks without too. Not sure where to get just the candy sticks. They are like sugary soft sour twizzlers

It was hard not chewy
The media could not be loaded. This candy had a good expiration date. The date of 10/15/25. However, this candy was so hard, it broke if you tapped it. It's supposed to be chewy not hard. The children didn't want it...

Terribly un-tasty
A little varied on texture. Some were hard, some were soft. Created some anxiety at snack-time, not unlike eating popcorn with un-popped kernals lurking within. Flavor was weak and sour effect minimal. Sweet ones were equally unimpressive to the point of blandness. Didn't bothering gifting after consuming a few out of snack-shortage desperation and tossed in the refuse after a few weeks. Have for certain regretted the experience.

Warn the kids they are sour!
I took these as a hello gift for my nieces and nephews on a trip to Australia. They were a hit, as they are an unusual but inexpensive gift: a colorful plastic container with about 10 sour gummi straws which are designed to be dipped into a sweet dip in the middle. The kids had fun with them but were taken aback by the sour taste, maybe Australians are not used to sour candies.

Not Sour at All
I was really hoping these would have more of a sour flavor to them. These gummy sticks evoke a similar appearance to sour straws or sour patch kids while coming nowhere close. The "Sour Dipping Gel" is basically Jolly Rancher's but melted. Even the Blue Rebel flavor lacked much of a sour flavor - though it was the sourest. Although I don't think sour straws or sour patch kids are necessarily the sourest of candy you can get, I can say that I'd have much rather purchased those candies than these if my primary focus was sour candy. My only other issue is that by the last/second to last stick you run out of gel - even if you saved it as much as possible. The value for money I can't really say as I'm not sure how much these would cost individually at the store, but since you get 8 for 20 then it's pretty much 2.50 per which seems at least decent if not good.I removed one star for the lack of any sour flavor and I removed the second star for a slight lack of gel (though I would probably only remove half a star if possible. However, if you like sweet stuff and like the idea of taking a gummy stick and dipping it into soft jolly rancher gel, by all means, you'll probably really like these. I know once I got past the lack of sour I quickly (relatively speaking) ate all of the containers.
